    Hi everyone.

    The latest update is adding a whole host of random people who supposedly donated a 5000 points castle button or whatever to some novel.

    That some of these novels are pointless exp farms or are simply not of my interest is besides the point.

    Why, am I getting to watch a seperate tab in my inbox display that someone don't care about, donated something to a novel i dont care about?

    If we must go that direction, then please put a notification for every dirty rat born in the sewers of whatever country any of the authors I follow are located in. That would be just as, if not more relevant to me than donations. For a plague of rats might compromise my favorite authors, where as a donation will not interfere with their publications.

    So please do tell me why we are subjected to pointless information notifications of donations on novels we would never touch with even a ten foot pole?

    What is the actual idea behind this resentment inducing move?

      • In Translating a novel

        Cindy_Jiang You have to go through Webnovel, if they find you just translating and posting the work it could be labeled as plagiarizing, they could also ban/do a penalty on your book.

        The only ways I can think of for becoming a translator is finding one of the Webnovel workers on the form and message them or make an inkstone account and apply to be a translator. Though if you go through inkstone you can only translate the novel given to you.

        You should also check if the Chinese novel you want to translate is reserved by Webnovel. For example if it wasn't and you just continue translating/posting on Webnovel they or you could get fined/sued for using the work without permission (this is just hypothetical btw). If Webnovel does have the rights for it then you could start a discussion asking to have it translated. If people receive it well they might consider it.

        Other than that I don't know much else about translating for/on webnovel. You could message @CKtalon a staff member or @Lonelytree who is also a translator.

            @Lonelytree @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL @CKtalon @SUNNY can you guys ban one star reviews? The amount of the trolls on this site who leave one star reviews, especially authors, is getting out of hand. For instance, I found one guy who simply goes around only leaving one star reviews and doesn't care if his review makes sense. Out of his last 25 reviews, I think there was only one three star review, and it's just a suggestion, but I see a lot of authors complain about those reviews.

            Perhaps even put in some review guidelines or something?

              WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL I have unlocked the chapters on Mr. CEO Spoil Me 100%, but when I opened it today, those same chapters were locked and I had to unlocked it again. I read already the parts until the Tong Family Arc, Body Sawp Arc, Mubai/Xinghe trapped and rescued in civil war ridden country, Artificial Limb arc, Science School Establishment Arc, Xia Family Arc, Mubai ‘s heart arc... I have rated a lot of chapters on this novel and they are locked again. I have unlocked them since Qidian time before becoming Webnovel.
              This is not fair!!!

              If it wasn’t for the TGIF#50, I would not have known about this. This was also the reason why I stopped paying attention to TGIF because I unlocked chapters based on TGIF but then they becomes locked again after some time.

              This is not the only book of mine that became like this. I sent already 2 emails concerning 2 different books (so far). I have been reading and unlocking faithfully since Qidian time before it became Webnovel. I feel really cheated. I hope that this concern can be resolved soon. I have read in other threads of similar cases. So what is Qidian/Webnovel doing to address this? Our history of consumption and purchases should be there since we started.

              Moral lesson:???? Better read one novel at a time to SUPER DUPER REALLY TRACK THE SS USAGE. And I have made small purchases of SS...🤬🤬🤬

                      Another thing I need to address since it is obviously being misconstrued yet again.

                      @Lonelytree brought up a point in discord, saying that its not like I don't know I'm not welcome. Its actually that i know I'm not welcome by you and the people of your sect.

                      And if this guy actually cared not to spread rumors with neverfire he would know, that I was not even active for over 2 weeks on the server at all 3 weeks I was not even active in chats. This inactivity solely due to the previous act of biasness where I was muted for not discussing topics (colors of roles) in the proper channels. And before the revamp of the server I was not even that active in the chats anymore I was mostly in other channels popping in and out, barely noticeable!

                      No lonelytree did not take it upon himself to learn that info they didn't care probs and just wanted to spread info, just like I am now with this sentence.

                      he also made a comment that he doesn't think anyone is breaking the rules, might I add I saw plenty of sect discussion going on, is that not part of the server, are discussing matters of the server not reserved for the server suggestions discussion channel is that not what I was muted for previously? If that wasn't what I was muted for Millman needs to reaffirm his DM cause that's definitely what he said.
