  • The problem exist only on my tablet. On my mobile phone the App works fine. When I go on ranking it says "there are no novels in this language". Voting pool or searching works. I got an Xiaomi Pad 5.

    • It is pretty much dead, but topwebfiction got a couple of good stories on there

      • These generic Novels are ripped from falou. Falou themselves rips good novels from other websites, changes some small things and posts them. That saves a lot of costs while also significantly lowering the quality. Webnovel translates those novels since the copyright is dirt cheap.

        • Minapyon That scarecrow novel is horror themed. The translation is not the best, but at least on a higher standard than the MTLs they normaly spam.

          • Daoistv1vpJp Look for an english course in your city. They're pretty unexpensive. Where I live a 3 month course, two times a week cost around 1/26 of my salary. See it as an investment. If the only thing that stops your novel from taking off is your bad english your returns will be big.

            • If I move to a locked chapter the Auto-Unlock function enables itself wothout me clicking. If I than press unlock for the chapter I actually want to buy it also automaticly buys the chapter after that and the Auto-Unlock function stays enabled. This happens irregulary.
I read the post in the past about that issue and there since the admins seem to be unconvinced this is a problem my two reason why it is:
              1. The Auto-Unlock button is not enabled when I go to a new chapter but turns itself on without me clicking. Since this also happens irregulary I can not predoct it happening. More than once did it happen, that I click unlock and in that moment the function turns itself on and I buy a chapter I didn't want to buy.
              2. It is against European Consumer Protection law. It is illegal for a website to tick boxes for the costumer, especially if doing so forces them into a purchase they didn't want to make.

Please fix this bug. While a customer will not take you to court for this, there are goverment organistions and NGOs, which whole purpose is to do exactly that. Simply searching for and fixing that piece of code should be way easier than dealing with that heat.

            • +1
I hope this is a bug and not something intended. The rating is the biggest indicator if a novel is trash or a gem and influences my desicions which novel to read deeply. I would be more than bothered, if I have to go to piracy sites in the futute to know if a novel is readable.

            • Hello,
I get messages (tab under notifications) about novels "in my library" which I should binge read because there are a lot of chapters unread.
              The problem:
I get these for novels that are not in my library and multiple times per day. I got messages for "Naked Sword Art" six times today even though that novel is not in my library. These are most likely two different bugs, because even for novels that are in my library the notifications come multiple times a day.
I can only speculate that maybe the trigger for these notifications doesn't check before sending if the novel is (still) in the library.

              Please fix this. Thank you.

            • Okay first my thoughts about deleting reviews:
Reviews are not primarily there to help authors. They are there to help other readers deciding what to read. If I read your first three chapters and your novel is absolute shit I should be allowed to tell other readers that, so that nobody else has to read this abomination. You want to tell me the novel gets way better later? If you are so capable, then fix your first chapters! If you are too lazy to go back and rewrite them, then you deserve the 1 Star review.

I agree that the exp for reviews has to go. A lot of people choose one novel they like and write a 5 Star review every day. Hell I do it sometimes. The character minimum does nothing to help either, as most reviews are someone smashing his hand on his keyboard a couple of times to get to the limit.

A review system is pretty easy to implement, with no cost to Webnovel! (Now they are listing ;) )
Simply get rid of the exp for reviews and make a new tap for "moderators". A bot randomly chooses people with a high activity, long time being on the site and similar criteria and gives them the moderator status. They can earn exp for reviewing the reviews. Maybe 10 exp per day for deciding on 10 reviews. There is an app called "Jodel" in Germany that does exactly that and it works extremely well.
