Whytea Issue with that is so many android emulators are malware. Any android emulator suggested to you by someone else, you can find at least 10 different sites/people saying that emulator has malware. Makes it difficult to trust any of them when you get negative feedback for every option you look up.

My inbox keeps getting notifications about people giving "Super Gifts" to random novels not in my library or history. I've never read, looked at, or even heard of any of these novels. Is there a way to disable notifications of these "Super Gifts" to novels I have no knowledge or interest in? I noticed this started happening within the last week or so and finally made a post to clarify.
Thanks for any answers.
Here's an opinion from someone who cannot stand romance in novels just for how I feel and others who are similar to me might feel.
I understand that many novels have romance even when they are not a romance novel. More often than not if it is written well enough (for example the romance isn't just "Oh you're the MC? I love you have my body!") I just deal with it and take it as building character for the MC and a side character who happens to be romantic with the MC. I might not enjoy it as much as other parts of the novel but I understand many readers are not like me and enjoy a little romance in their novels (I do not expect any author to write solely for me and only write things that I enjoy.)
For romance that is not written well, it can either sour my mood about the novel, but I enjoy the novel enough to slog through it and wait for it to be over so I can get back to enjoying the novel. And sometimes if it is written so horrible it can make me drop the novel entirely (many novels that start great and then devolve into no personality harems with the female characters fall into this category for me. I understand lots of readers love harems and some don't even care if the female characters have good personality because the more people the MC can have sex with the better.)
When it comes to sex scenes in novels (again coming from someone who cannot stand romance) I much prefer the "fade to black" effect or the insinuation (like Hatake_Shirou said). Where the parties will start kissing or start being extremely touchy and then the author skips to them either waking up the next day or getting out of the bed and straightening their clothes or putting clothes on. I feel that when the act is being described that I am reading an erotic novel at that point and for me wanting to read an erotic novel versus wanting to read a novel for entertainment are two completely different moods.
Just my thoughts (as someone who doesn't enjoy romance in novels at all. I saw the thread stickied and thought I'd chip in the conversation.) Hope all the authors keep on doing what they enjoy and that their readers continue to enjoy their works. :)
Darth_Xiane Yea I haven't reported it because I don't really feel it constitutes as abuse so much as just being a troll/dick.
I was wondering if there are any rules against people posting spoilers from untranslated chapters on the site in comments of the translated chapters. If there are is there anyway to report people who do so on a regular basis? I notice that you can report comments for "inappropriate content" and select the "other" category but I'm not sure that spoilers qualify as "abuse" since the description box states "Type your abuse here." Thanks.
Thanks for the link, couldn't find it earlier.
bottosapien Unfortunately people would just google something random and post an excerpt of some random website or something similar. I'm actually surprised more of the spam reviews aren't that already since that takes much less effort than spamming 140 random characters on your keyboard.
KitKatxKK I agree 100% that one should read at least 10 chapters for a review (barring that each chapter isn't incredibly long, 10k+ word chapters and the novel only has 16 chapters - Looking at you The Lazy King... Great novel.) The earliest I've dropped a novel is 12 chapters, and that was only one novel. Others I've read at least to 30-40 before dropping. But those have always been because I personally didn't enjoy the route the story was taking and had nothing to do with the quality of the story. So I don't leave negative reviews since its purely a subjective reason for me stopping to read, and probably not that useful to others.
And when it comes to poor grammar... It doesn't really bother me. I notice it, but I've read so many translated novels that have awful grammar that I've given up caring about it. I just correct the grammar to myself and move on. If they want people to report bad grammar so they can fix it, I will sometimes attempt to make note of it and leave it as a comment so that it can be fixed for others.
KitKatxKK BTW, do you realize that most novels that have 2000 chapters or more are usually split into books? Some have 10 books over that span while others have each 25 chapters be a book and have up to 40+ books.
Being able to critique a novel series after reading the first book and saying that you don't enjoy the book is perfectly acceptable, regardless if the series has 7-50 books. Expecting someone to read 15 out of 50 books of a series before they're allowed to critique it is asking for a lot. The reviews clearly state what chapter the person had read to as well. So if they read the first book and comment about the series, it should be obvious that they are talking from a perspective of reading only the first book (or in this case of the first 20, 40, 60, 80, or however many chapters.)melonbread Yep I don't even read any Original Novels on the site because of the facts you mention.
Dan_Ryder Wait am I understanding what you're saying correctly? If someone reads 68 chapters (what you have as free) and decided they didn't enjoy the story enough to continue reading then their review isn't valid? That seems a little absurd if that is what you are saying.
I personally have stopped reading novels after 20-40 and sometimes even 60-80 chapters because they weren't engaging enough for me. Granted I don't go and leave a bad review because I don't particularly like the way the review system works on this site. Just seems ridiculous that because I never unlocked any chapters that my critique should be invalid.
I don't trust any ratings/reviews on this site personally. I usually look at novel updates or other sites to get an actual review, and even then I take what I read with a grain of salt. I usually read the negative reviews and reviews that have read a lot of the novel to get a better understanding. Generally I will just read what sounds interesting though, and then if it gets boring or is bad I will stop reading it. I know that ratings will dictate a lot to other people though. I also ignore all original work and only read translated works. I'm sure I am in the vast minority of people though.
But when I do come on the forums to check something and I see the review swap thread and how it gets hundreds of posts it just makes me lose faith in all reviews. I'm not a writer but I don't leave reviews so I understand that it must be challenging to actually get people to review and I see why they'd want people to come give reviews... It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth seeing people swap.
MaharlikangAnino Yea it was entertaining enough for me to enjoy... We also only had 6 chapters of it and it seemed like it was going to be entertaining.
This novel came out about three days ago and was releasing 3 chapters a day. Saw in my history that it no longer had a name and said "6/" for which chapter I was on. When I click the picture it leads me to this page.

Never seen this before, anyone else seen this?
Seems like they were afraid that Pocket Hunting Dimension would overtake the detective novel. Doesn't seem like they actually want to listen to votes and just want to release novels chosen by other means.
