Unexpectedly I also encountered this annoying bug today... But as mentioned above, after scrolling up and down a bit the text became more easily decipherable for a human.

Acluduo A good solution is to download the app (android emulation on PC is an option if you have no way to download the app on an android device), do the daily missions (takes less than 1 minute to do 3 for fast passes), and then normally use them and read your desired novel on PC/web browser. Hopefully it helps.

PancakesWitch You seem to forget that ads exist and website is getting money from us this way. By using "unofficial" websites to read novels from Webnovel, they literally get no money. If you don't mind the recent changes (daily passes' removal, obnoxious text encryption making translations to other languages virtually impossible), then it shows how simple minded and selfish you are.
Yeah, same here. This is really annoying, especially with no announcements...
