Yeah that's exactly what I mean. The romance just feels forced and unrealistic most of the time. I have nothing against romance when it's done right, but most of the romance in webnovels is poorly thought out
So many novels have introduced some romantic partner. Romance is fine, it's just not fitting in a story of cultivation, other than a few lines here and there. Having whole chapters/arcs about romance gets tiring. Feels more like the author's self-insert masturbation.
What are some novels with an MC who doesn't care about romantic relationships, or at least where the relationship doesn't take up half the novel?
And are there any novels where every side character isn't a "breath taking, beautiful, jade-like women with perfect features"? Or a novel where 90% of the side characters aren't women?
Basically just a novel where the author isn't a sex crazed maniac

I'm happy with this choice. They can vote on their romance novels without interfering with the good novels. Before there were days where only romance novels were being voted on, denying other novels a chance.

Qidian please add another option for the old dark theme
The site looks fine as it is... we don't need useless font changes and theme changes. The old dark theme was way better than the new blue with a solid black background
I used to download the non-premium novels so I could read them when I had no internet, but now Qidian is starting to ad-wall EVERY chapter instead of the latest ones. What's the point of downloading novels if I can't read them offline?
Seems like such a useless change in my opinion. If anyone wants the old font there's an extension called Font Changer which lets you set site specific fonts

Without the AI dialogue, the novel is very confusing and can make no sense at times. It has turned away a lot of readers, thinking the writing is disjointed and badly organised, because of the removal of important dialogue.

Why is this the only quote on the front page? There should be quotes from other novels too
People beg for votes in translator comments (and give incentives like more chapters). It's a new novel so more people read it, meaning more people see the author beg for stones so they vote for it.
Don't forget, there are a lot of new people who don't recognise the cliches, so they read it and think it's awesome since everything is a new idea in their mind.
I had a similar problem before. Sadly I didn't know what fixed it, it just disappeared one day
