The main problem is how to convert the free users in order to cover for the reduction in expenditure of the current Premium users ( take a look at my previous suggestion )

@WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL It was pretty obvious that the elite subscription would make some authors and translators get more than others, because 100% of people who bought more than 25$ in SS went direct to the elite subscription, while few people who never bought SS or only bought less than 25$ decided to become elite (probably they really can't afford it).
I managed to finish a few books during my 2 months as elite and I would like to take part of the next "beta" and I have a suggestion.
It is something similar to Crunchyroll.

1) Free users: they stay with the current status, reading through winning bonus SS
2) elite: paid subscription with access to everything already published ( subscription between 10-20$)
3) Premium: they are elite, who uses SS to read in advance the chapters of the next week, this means they will be spending SS almost in the same way of the current premium.

[unknown] I'd rather not waste my time and theirs in a futile struggle.
I'm still hoping for the signature to be available again in a way which more people will be able to join.

Crunchyroll costs almost the same PER YEAR and they have to ensure the streaming is in HD and the subtitles are released 1 hour after the original transmission (and it is free for everyone after one week, with some exceptions)
Not to mention Netflix, Amazon Prime, Kindle Unlimited and many others.

If Webnovel reach a similar price, more people will be willing to pay for the subscription, even if it is to read only one novel

I live at GMT+3, 5 hours ahead of the deadline of the promotion and I unlocked the last chapter of August just before sleeping. Hoping that no extra chapter was released.

Because I definitely wasn't going to wake up before 5 am on Sunday just to unlock a chapter.

Look at the chapter list, if the final chapters have a lock sign, it's a premium novel, if they are unlocked or have a gift sign it is still free.
