So, when webnovel(bought by QI) started it said that it'll be free for all forever. And qidian went straight to war with wuxiaworld for the sake of a lot of novels.
And thus qidian was able to pull a lot of readers from WW.

Then came the ad blocks saying that the earnings from ad will go to authors and translators. And those ad blocks were on even those books which were not translated by translators on qidian(you know what I mean).

Then came freemium saying that ads aren't enough. But still for free readers they promised that there will be chapters unlocked everyday(1 per day). Still there was not much complains there.

And now, there is no unlocked chapters and even the previous chapters are locked.

Soon there will come a time when those free SS will also be not available like right now. Now we can read atmost one premium novel with everyday free SS. But I'm sure that there will be drastic reduction in the number of free SS provided.

The ones who spend are like 10% of the total readers( That's the estimate I made from reading other comments in other posts also).
So QI is going for that 10% and totally neglecting the 90% of the readers....

MasterRabbink you get a few SS free everyday and many people use that to read..
Not everyone spend money on buying SS cause not everyone can afford.

How the heck am I going to read when I earn just $100 per month??
