How does this effect the authors? Do they still get paid the same amount?

Has anyone else been having issues with the power stones recieved from watching ads? I have only been recieving five for about two weeks in a row. This is the lowest amount and it is getting old. I know it is supposed to be random, but the lowest amount for 14 days in a row does not seem random.
