Epyonnn Thank you so much for this critique. A lot of my issues really stem from wanting to uncover the world, but in good pacing and less info-dumping, so exposition is a bit tough for me. The title, the reincarnation, the magic system are all explained in due time, but as you can see, I'm not great with clocks, haha...

Venusean I agree with all your points, especially the first one! It’s annoying to see power ups be randomly added to be used once, and never seen again.
I also enjoy worldbuilding in books, too, that expand past the world the MC lives in and throughout their entire nation and so forth, because it really brings depth to their lives. Too bad it’s extremely hard to implement such in a good way, without info dumping or making the story a drag.

Hi! You might like this one. I'm writing a book with a female lead that has anti-hero traits. The MC is on that thread of weak but also overpowered, but it's complicated. There's no shouting magic techniques (they would look stupid if they did), and though it's in it's early stages, it has relatively good character planned progression for all characters. Everything has a purpose, and the romance between characters are my favorite, as they grow to like each other's flaws, rather than only liking their good qualities, so one-sided loves don't happen.
