Hmmm, i agree that you should at the very least be able to see very channel as to not hide information, but not post in every channel. That is to prevent spam, as you said, because if you haven't noticed, it is a bit of a problem. They're meant to be more serious, and that regrettably means it cannot be left open to everybody. There is no control of opinions either, just do not spam or be rude.
