    Reincarnator, this novel has one of the worst update release rate among the novels I read. The translator doesn't even give a damn about this novel, the way I see it. the last update was over a month and half ago. I don't think there will be any use making it premium, it won't be updated anytime soon if you are using the same translator.

    Bring novels that have steady release rate and translators who provide the said release rate, instead of bringing these old/ out of date novels whose readers most likely have already forgotten most of the details. You are just wasting your money and time in doing so.

      PlotArmour Why lock already unlocked chapters? This makes no sense especially when some novels that have already been translated with hundreds of chapters that were previously all FREE are being ripped off the sites and now cost SS. I downloaded a novel to read while I was on a trip and discovered that all the chapters that were previously UNLOCKED that I was going to read are now all locked!

      this is a new feature. But any chaps unlocked will stay unlocked now. When this new feature came out, most of the chaps in most of the novels became ad locked. I haven't seen the problem in premium chaps. What have been unlocked are unlocked for me.

              Gothic_Temptation they don't affect the story, that's true, but what's the use of reading if you are gonna read something that is not correct or as author intended. I know not all translations are that good, that's why I read only 3-4 novels. One example of a bad translation in webnovel is carefree path of dreams, many people read it and enjoy it, but you will see lot of errors in the first hundred or so chaps ( I dropped it after chap 80, the errors were just too much).
              Finally, in any creative writing, the minor details are what makes the story enjoyable. Just concentrating on major details will be like reading some korean novels translated out there: [you reached the final boss] [after a hard battle, the boss is defeated] [rewards] [power ups] [etc].

              I am only speaking for myself though. I read a lot of English novels, so maybe that's why for me, the minor details are very important to be immersed in the novel.

                      The thing is there are not much depth to many chinese novels. You need to read english novels to find how much depth a story can have. I won't talk about the uncommon novels, you can just look at the classic Harry Potter novel series. Look at how immersive it is and how much depth it has.

                        It is best if you view the normal chaps by watching ads and only use your SS for viewing premium chaps :) You can get about 15 SS free daily through the check-in and voting, which is an add-on in case you only follow 2-3 premium novels.

                            @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL could you please ask the webnovel team to change back to a free chap a day for premium novels? This new change of premium chaps accumulating over time without any free chaps is leading to many people heading to other sites.

                              overall, qidian premium system is actually cheaper in comparison to patreon or other donation system. But the new change of premium chaps accumulating without becoming free chaps, is really a harsh change. I hope @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL can go to the previous style where premium chaps would become free as new chaps are updated.

                                I remember the translation as well as the grammar of carefree path being really bad when I read it before as if it was machine translated, with there being many translation errors ( I dropped it after reading it till chap 140) how is it now? has the translation improved?

                                          it is "notify all swordsmen to report to me and Queen at the sight of nine headed dragon......" your translation /editing - "Notify all swordsmen within Avision City along with the Queen and I immediately at the sight of Nine-Headed Dragon" - doesn't even make any sense lol. notify all men along with queen and I, what the heck is that?

                                          It would not have been a problem had it been just one time errors, but right now, I am speechless at the level of abuse the novel is suffering in terms of translation/editing.
