I really like some of the novels on here, but if they remove free chapters or even pushh them back to weekly then i'm done. There has already been too many shady and greedy actions with this company. I will not support such a company even if they deliver content that i like.

I really want to love this site, but every time they need to do something to make things worse, the premium sistem is fundamentally broken, being a bit of a pain( but still manageable) to free users, but really terrible to the actual paying user (you pay and you lose any free chapter until your last paid chapter becomes free making a vicious cicle), the app is never updated with any decent changes (i am still waiting for any method of offline content management), qidian downright ignores the community that is not kissing its ass and then they do this piece of work, because regardless if the daily chapters are truly gone or not, the sole fact that they havent even deemed necesary to pin a post about it shows how little they care for their own community (and this is assuming this IS a mistake and not an experiment to see if they make profit by removing the chapters)

I guess stocking up chapters for 2 months was worth it? But it would eventually run out so I guess not.

There are no free chapters anymore. It's finished.
Only premium paying users will be able to read the premium novels.

Either it is a bug, and one of the biggest publishing company in China doesn't care enough about its new international branch to have at least someone doing basic monitoring on the weekends or they are roleplaying the usual cliche character that can be found on most xia novels : an arrogant young master that is greedily extorting spirit stones while shamelessly slapping the face of everyone, not even being bothered about the fact that it make him look like a lazily written obnoxious second string villain, ruining any trust that all the little hands working for his sect/merchant family had tried to build...

hoyQui it's mei ban fa. They want to see if we will take it.

After all, the site now has the ability to monitor readership. If premium readership drops across the board, then they will try to do something about it.

The funny thing is that recent actions are going to make people read less, lol. The question is whether it's making people pay more. For all our complaints, we actually can't tell if that is happening.

Schnabeltier go for it. Reading should be a drama-free hobby. QI been bringing the drama lately and we're all hoping they get faceslapped even though we know they won't.

I really hope qidan didn't screw us all over.

If this is a pemanent thing then i guess i have to say goodby. I dont mind watching adds for every chapter, but if they ask 25 cents per chapter, then i'd be broke every month just by paying qidian. Im sure less and less are going to be paying this sh*thole site that it has become.

CatOMatique i would believe it but this problem started on the 16th as i remember it, and they still didn’t do anything. The fact that is the weekend is no real excuse to not at least communicate they were having a site wide issue.

Umm sadly I don't think this is a bug. One translator had contacted the admins and they've confirmed that the daily unlocking mechanism has been stopped for good.
