Well, that's it. Qidian has decided to no longer continue the daily unlock system. That means all of us free users can no longer read those premium novels like TMW, SS, RTW, etc without spending spirit stones. I knew this day would come but it would've been nice to get a heads up about it.

In the above, it was clearly mentioned that they will no longer have the daily unlocking mechanism but only for those two books mentioned in the post. They didn't mention anything about this applying to other works.

One user @D0nk3yK0ng after many attempts to get in touch with the staff finally got a reply. Sadly even the staff who replied was unaware of it and couldn't offer much help.
Then finally I came across this.

In the translator thoughts, the translator got confirmation from the admins that the unlocking mechanism has been removed.
So there you have it. I'm not sure how many of you actually read the whole thing but this is for those who want to know what actually happened.
You can still get free spirit stones from checking in daily and all that, though I'm not sure how much longer it will last. So those who wish to spend SS to continue reading are still able to do so. The only issue is if you have a lot of novels. Then other than by purchasing more SS I'm not sure what else you can do.
Well, that's all I have to say. In the end, the decision to continue reading on Webnovel is yours and yours only.

Webnovel is not replying to any either....

Which is quite annoying...actually very annoying..but eh.

They can do what they want and lose customers.

It's not like Webnovel is the best site for reading novels now is it?
