Bronzeapollo Stories have an ending. Can you really say you've published any at all?
How many stories has everyone published?
I'm working on 2 stories now. I can't imagine doing more.. 2 is too much for me already
BlackStarDeceiver has a point... If your stories don't need a full plot cycle, I could claim every chapter I hit the publish button on in my novel is a published story. Maybe my 21 published chapters in a single novel mean I have published 21 stories like you.
My novel: Frozen at Castle Everest
To answer your question I started 1 story and am hesitant to publish another until it has an ending. I don't think it's helpful to divide your attention too many times.
BlackStarDeceiver Every story has a planned ending, every story has planned plot points and actions. Even if I only count the stories with the last chapter published I'm at 9 novels, so 9 completed novels.
If I were to count novels I don't endings planned for, my number would be too high.
Two. It'll probably be a long long time (if ever) I do a third. My novels are slow paced and should end up very long. I imagine it will take me 1 year at the minimum to finish them. 3 Year maximum. I could probably do a 3rd if I dropped out of college and was able to make a living off my writing... but I doubt that will happen lol.
It can be frustrating when I get ideas for novels I want to write. I only have so much time and energy unfortunately. I could do some short stories, but they don't really satisfy me.
One for now. I don't have any plan to write more than that because I might not be able to keep up with the idea of the story if I write a different one now. Besides, I'm quite busy with my daily live and I don't think I will be able to live my life if I work full time as a writer.
By the way, how did you manage write so much (up to 21)? I can't imagine myself writing that much.
Sorahana Just boredom and writing whatever comes to my head. Some ideas just get chucked and others get a chapter one and full plot brainstorm. Usually the former of the two.
If I were to write full time on every one of my stories, it would be rotation based, 12 stories. So a chapter a day and go down the list. College trumps this though, so I only now write when I get free time.
3 but dropped 1, Release 1 per week. I am doing two Cause one alone might become boring :p
Sadly I can't delete the dropped one, so I will have to look at it everytime I enter inkstone -.-
One for now in webnovel... I like to work on BL stories mostly... just working on Beneficial Union - Chasing A Rogue Wife.
Do you guys have recommended BL stories?
Bronzeapollo I can be very old fashioned sometimes. I just don't agree with the idea of unfinished novels which might never see an ending being counted as a published story. That aside I respect your dedication to writing and hope you can keep giving life to your imagination. Creativity is a dying trait in this world where everything we can imagine is already at our fingertips.
