I have been an avid reader of all kinds for many years and never before have I experienced more infuriating bugs than the ones that plague me on this app. I can’t even trust to stay logged in since every two or three weeks I’ll regularly be booted and have to log back in. Even then, more often than not my info won’t be accepted until the third or fourth attempt with the same information. But what bothers me the most is the fact that after I bust my ass just to read a book I like, my entire library will be reset and I have to leave a story open until it decides to offer to sync to the last chapter I read. I can’t even manually find it myself, because the index only loads the first chapter while it struggles to locate my present chapter. My library has even been cleared completely and I’ve had to hunt down each book I’ve read and re-add just so I can get their update notifications. I pay money to read the stories and I am highly dissatisfied with the experience I have received using Qidan. Unfortunately there is no other service I can use to read these stories yet so I’m forced to endure this unpleasant experience.
Reoccurring Problems
SevenSunsCelestial It would help if you tell how your reading habit and what your device is. You have several problem here.
Login and regularly booted out will be useful to prevent your account hacked when you left it.
You have encountered several bugs together. Some people reported one or two, but you got them together.
Library reset. Are you sure, you used same account? This often happened to people who use Desktop Browser, Mobile Browser, and Apps. Did you left one open? What device that you used? iOS? Android? Chrome? Firefox? Desktop? Mac? More information would help Devs.
ToC only showed 1st chapter only. Did you experience this bug too?
I experience this same problem.
I only use and have one account, and only on my one phone, and do not use other phones or browsers on other computers. I then get asked to login but I won't be successful unless I force the app to be removed from memory. Then I can successfully login again after the app starts this time.
Then I have to go and open each and every story to wait for it to synchronize again as it currently says it is unread. And some do show up as only one chapter. It's still probably downloading the ToC.
It's quite annoying to do this every so often. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated.
