For many years two men had prayed to god. One day god appeared before them and told them that he would fulfill their three wishes. The first person said "God, first fulfill my friend's(other person's) three wishes. Whatever he asks just give me its double." Thus the god asked the second person for his wishes. The second person said "God, give me a palace like house." The god said "Okay." Thus he got a palace like house. But the first person got two palace like houses. Then the second person said "God, give me a room full of gold,silver and diamonds in the storage room of my house." The god said " Okay." Thus he got a room full of wealth. But the other got two rooms full of wealth. After thinking for some time the second person said "God,take away my one eye permanently." The god said "Okay." Thus his eye was removed permanently. But the first person became blind permanently.
Moral : Greed will take you on the path of destruction.

      there's so many ways to go about this. the third wish can be to null the first person wish. the second person doesn't need anymore wealth anyways.

              Miya The first person got greedy while second person became jealous. To make the life of first person painful because he would get the double of whatever he asked the second person chosed to lose his one eye permanently. I think to give the message of not to become greedy and jealous this story was made.

                  The famous writer of "The time machine" and "War of the worlds" H. G. Wells lived in his beautiful three storey house in London. This house had all kind of tools and conveniences. One day a friend of H. G. Wells came to his house. Because this friend had came for the first time in his house, H. G. Wells started to show him his whole house. After seeing the two storey of the house they both went to the third storey. There H. G. Wells showed him a room and said " This is my bedroom. At night i leisurely sleep here. " Hearing this the friend started thinking. Seeing this H. G. Wells asked " What are you thinking? " The friend said " I don't understand one thing. " Wells asked " What is it?" The friend said " At the ground floor of the house there are many brilliant rooms. Why don't you use one of them as bedroom?" Wells replied " Those rooms are used by my housemaid and cook. They both have served me for more than twenty years. " The friend said " Even if that is the case but don't you see how others don't give large room to their servants but only give a small room for them to live. How can you give such large rooms which are full of air and light to servants?" H. G. Wells replied " Many years ago when my family was living in poverty, my mother was working as a maid at a rich man's house for our family's maintenance. That rich man had given my mother a small room to live. My mother indeed lived there but because of living there she had suffered very much. I remember this and therefore i don't want my maid or cook to feel any pain and for that i have given them brilliant large rooms full of air and light. Servant or maid they are humans. If i see them as lowly people and give them small dirty room to live then can i still call myself a human? "( A story read somewhere)

                      Miya I guess the day of Mark Twain's program was a normal day. In town there should have come many people from other places by knowing that Mark Twain's program would take place there. So many people have stayed in town's hotels. Now for this many people' breakfast, lunch and supper the hotels should have bought many food materials like wheat,eggs etc than normally they bought. The shopkeeper knowing that that day wasn't any special day just guessed there should be some program in the town by the sellings of eggs. Don't know if it is true but just a guess.

                        The great musician Leopold Godowsky
                        was a very good friend of the developer of " Theory of relativity" and honored by the world famous Noble Prize, Albert Einstein. Leopold lived in New York. Once Albert Einstein came New York to meet Leopold Godowsky. For two-four days he stayed there. When Albert started to prepare to leave Leopold Godowsky said " I have a friend whose name is Nai. He is a shopkeeper. He wants to meet you. Can you come with me to meet him?" Albert Einstein said " I don't have time right now but next time whenever i will come i will surely meet him. Give me his shop's address. " Leopold gave Albert Einstein Nai's shop's address in a paper and Albert put it carefully in his coat then took his leave. After some time Albert got the news of Leopold's death so he quickly went to New York. He went to Leopold's house after reaching New York. He gave his consolation to Leopold's wife and children. Then he took out the safely kept paper of Nai's shop's address and went there. Leopold had told Nai that " I have given Albert Einstein your shop's address. And whenever he will come New York he will meet you. " But that incident happened quite some time ago therefore Nai thought " How can a great scientist like Albert Einstein will come to meet a normal person like me?" But when he saw that Albert Einstein had come to meet him to his shop, he became very emotional and tears started coming in his eyes. He wasn't even able to speak for sometime ! Nai was very much surprised by seeing the modesty of such a great scientist. (A story read somewhere)
