Heyho everybody,
I'm a newbie author working on my first webnovel and wanted to ask your preferences about
Long chapters with fewer uploads VS Shorter chapters but more frequent (possibly every day ) uploads.
Since it's important to me to start and end chapters properly it would be helpful knowing this before I write too much.

Have at least 1500 words a chapter(Don't be like The Daily Life Of The Immortal King, which wastes over half the chapter with random and useless things, that' just annoying) and upload 1 chapter for, well, that depends on you.
I would go for shorter chapters so people don't get bored of reading a long ass chapter, and it also makes people want to come back for more. If all your chapters are long, then people might just skim.
TheWritingChicken I personally like short ones and write short ones. People prefer frequency most of all, length doesn't matter as long as it's at least 600 words. I keep it between 800 and 1200

I guess I'll keep them on the shorter end and try to post as often as I can. Though I'll stockpile a bit first, so I can take a day off sometimes.

TheWritingChicken my thought - it depends on your audience and your writing style.
Try reading my chapters - if I cut it at 1000 or 1500 words, sometimes it will be frustrating for the reader (or boring) - because the chapter's story hasn't closed off yet.

But try reading Eldrid's chapters - since the flavor and style are different, it makes sense to end at 800-1200 words. Otherwise it would just be fluffing with filler words.
