# Novel Reviews spammer with no informative or critical content
It's not just 5 stars that these groups or person is doing. Some have been giving 1 star just because they don't like the author (personal grudge). I wish the site could track these people down and stop them from posting 1.)swear words 2.) Posting without giving an actual review if it's their second time posting.
Scarlettbunny Yeah, an appropriate action should be given with that issue too. Well, i for one was guilty with that, AHAHAHA. i think i did it only once. My reason, is that the synopsis is misleading, the novel is overrated, and i hate the genre, i think i should be punished too, BOhoohooo
TawnyWrites Yeah, and i think things like these had been going on and on in the community for some time already. Other than that, the disappearances of translators or the stopping of chapter updates had been happening on some promising novels lately. And there is no action or explanation given so far.
BAJJ Honestly, this is interesting because even at the beginning, readers can expect a dark plot and some action packed scenes in the following chapters. IMO, for readers that read casually, this is a goldmine but..... you know, some people that tends to ask more and mostly rant about some details,(like me, muhahaha) there's just a bit of concern.
- The term Aurora - not all people have any idea about that, you can just do what usual authors or translators do in every update that has some uncommon words. They explain it at the bottom of the chapter. Or, just put a bit of explanation within the chapter like a small dialog.
- Add more content in the synopsis, There are a lot of people that digs for novels that has potential and one of their main basis in liking the literary work is the synopsis. Right?
Context wise, there is little to know about the world, but about portraying the scene, you did a good job.
Writing quality, hmmm... you can treat this comment as nonsense because you know, you knew yourself better. I can only say " Grammatically, you did justice in your work, and your writing style is good, but not up to par in some of those Godly writers" (peace bro!)

So this site runs on a starbase system. I think the last time I messed with those was on youtube. For stuff like this, I'd say stars are better since it's a more in-depth rating. But I guess the bad side to it is a lack of a review for the choice since it's a bit more involved than just voting.

DSNate Not really, because the ranking is polled from the amount of Power stones and popularity. But you see, if you try to scroll on the novel list then you see the top 17th has a rating of 3.9, then you scroll down, and you see top 19th with a 4.7 rating, of course, you would be inclined to check out the 19th place because of the rating. (That's what mostly happen in me and my friend's case) Like i will tell him, "Hey bro check this out, it has a rating of 4.7 this is great, let's read this one" (You get me?)

BerriApplepi Hi, i havn't been in the forums for a couple of months, i'll try reading your work maybe this week or on the next, because i'm quite busy right now, have a good day.
It would help if someone was able to go through the reviews and remove those who are doing reviews just for exp and spamming either 1 star or 5 star. No content on the reviews means i have to go to novelupdate just to check out peoples opinions on a novel when i should be able to do so here, the review area for novels is just a place to gain exp for most who post reviews.
