Its been a long time since I started writing and I have a variety of things that I like to listen to while I work, What about you guys? Link youtube videos or playlists and lets see whats what.

    binurial beats helps stimulate some type of state depending on the beat you have...
    also needs good headsets that can properly convey the proper Hertz... this ones for focus and creativity
    usually for some this increases productivity by 10-40%

      any soft ones. lol. loud music and i cant concentrate eheheh

        I'm not much of a music man, I just click any playlist and listen. Sometimes I might pick my own music, other times I don't really mind.

        I have actually played this song for the full 8 hours I spent writing and editing a chapter that this song influenced. Now I use it as background noise sometimes. My husband gets angry listening to it all weekend and forces me to use a headset.

        I love listening to music to relax and relieve stress but if you want to improve your focus while writing novels, it might be best to not listen to music with lyrics/words.. cause it might contradict with what you write..
        Well, if you listen to anime songs whose lyrics you do not understand, then it might be alright..

        But the best would be video game soundtracks.. it could really improve focus.
        An example is pokemon game soundtracks 😅

        Im currently a guy trying to write a romance novel and i find it easier to write my female characters when im listening to Nightcore version of some love songs / those female rebellious songs

          I find Studio Ghibli and Final Fantasy soundtracks extremely calming and soothing. I like listening to piano, guitar or full soundtrack renditions.

          Oh, and lets not forget the Naruto and Bleach soundtracks.

          Sometimes I find that listening to music will actually pull me out of the scene I'm trying to write. Say I'm writing an action scene, and Van's ready to beat people up, but the song I'm listening to is so calm and wonderful... I have to find an angrier/faster song so I can get back into my character's perspective.

          Recently, I've actually been turning the music off to write. That said, I think that finding the right song could help me find the missing emotions in a scene.

            This is a good song for me now.
            But I wrote my others chapters with this:

            I've tried listening to music while writing before. I found it to be distracting. Also, if I listened to the wrong music, it negatively affected the scene. Such as listening to upbeat music during a character death scene. No music for me when I write now.

                Gentlemen. There is a solution here none of us are seeing. We must simply convert our keyboards into musical instruments. They shall play the music as we type our stories. AI machine learning will change the music tempo/theme as we write dark scenes, love scenes, humorous scenes, etc.
