I read up to Ch.10 and am ticked off that PZH called XL unreasonable for not wanting to sing as his wedding to another woman while he claims to not forget about XL. Stupid man-tality like this in c-novels/novels/writing makes me wanna take a bat and bludgeon the male character's proxy (sometimes know as my own BF, other times i substitute with bashing a pillow around). That's after the unsurprising annoyance that her murder was covered up in a conspiracy somehow (coroner, shame on you for lying about injuries/cause of death, whatever would be the ministry for occupational safety, double shame on you for a pathetic investigation of a death while working/performing, and WTF police for not stepping up for such a suspicious death┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ︵ ┻━┻)

Kinda cute that she is turning out to slowly becoming friendly-ish with the Tao guy and then his hilarious goofball minions.

Ch.11 proves again the Pei ZiHeng is just garbage .... Jumps to conclusion/believes Xia Ling to be a murderer based on what? Heresay? Circumstantial as she met for coffee/'chat'? And then turns into a raging hegemon because Xia Ling refuses to remain as 'just' his mistress but he has money, influence, reputation and guardianship (er, she is an adult already) lorded over her, let alone emotionally and physically ....
