I have been wondering if subscription on webnovel will ever be a thing. Like you get X amount of spirit stones each month. Maybe you get a few extra spirit stones for having a subscription for a longer time or something like that. Maybe being able to subscribe to your favorite author to get acces to x amount of a novel each month/week?

Just an idea, would like to see other ways to support the authors (and translaters of course!) other than unlocking chapters and gifts! (not including things like patreon, ko-fi and so on).

Though the real reason being i find unlocking chapters too expensive... should be a fifth of what it costs today.. either cheaper ss or less ss..

PurpleSpring I agree about the subscription, but it should be like 10 or $15/mo subscription service to read all novels. Screw SS. Subscription is the way to go and much more affordable for most of the readers on here. I make some times more than 100k/yr and this is wayyyyyy to expensive. Reading my novel list will cost me thousands of dollars..."thousands".
Sorry, but how many actual books can I buy with thousands of dollars. No one except rich people spend thousands of dollars to read.

I'd just like it if webnovel billed me for SS every month based on how many premium chapters I read. The more chapters I read, the more of a discount I get so that it reflects the bonus SS you get from higher tier purchases.

Lily_Automata that doesn’t actually help ur case. Early access are for u to read early w/o additional charge aft full release. And paying for translation, it should cost less than paying for a book right?

AlexNeo unfortunately early access is a loaded term. But it doesnt mean you pay more or less. The price is set by the seller.
