As the title suggests. Instead of receiving the daily Spirit Stones I received a +2 bonus on top of the already 2 PS and 2 ES I usually get daily (lvl 3 xp rewards).

I hope this is a bug (or an error on my part - though I doubt it), because if it's a feature then it is pretty disgusting. There are no benefits for the user in power stones as far as I'm aware, so why would anyone want a bonus of those at the expense of daily spirit stones?

I've been supporting Qidian/Webnovel since way before the initial video-ads-unlock-new-chapters thing occurred, so I been going with the flow understanding the need for bringing in some money as a business. However, it's reached a point where it feels like rather than me supporting you, it's me waiting to see how much more precise you lot are at spitting in my face. It genuinely feels insulting.

Is this a bug/error, or is this a new 'feature'?

It's nice that these changes hit existing users immediately, and without any forewarning. Users tend to weigh up what the pros and cons are of using a new service before signing up – I'm sure most did with WebNovel too – so changing the service offered after so many have committed to the service is definitely the RIGHT way to do business and treat users. It won't insult them at all... user retention guaranteed! /s
