Lately I've noticed that the ss you make daily don't suffice for simple reading. When I first started reading here, I could read as much as I wanted, this site was all about the reader. If a chapter needed ss (which was rare) and I didn't have enough, there was always the option to watch a short video. Now almost all novels require you to buy chapters with ss, and it doesn't just cost 2, 4 or 5 ss, it can cost up to 8 ss if not more... I have alot of novels in my library but I can't read them anymore cause it costs more than I receive daily. And there's no watch a short clip option. I understand that this site is constantly upgraded for the benefit of the readers, to make it an awesome experience for us whilst expanding (with comics and all). I also understand that the authors are in need of an income to be able to continue their hard work... but I'm still conflicted about this change. Do i need to buy ss to be able to enjoy the full experience? What do ya'll think about this "economical system" that's being introduced. Like it or not? Why?
Qidian a spirit stone addict?

ss is based solely on word count. So a 2 ss chapter will have around 400 words, while a 8 ss would have around 1600 words. So that's where the price difference comes from.
I'm a contracted author, so I'm very biased, but I like the spirit stone system. It's all too common for popular non-contracted novels to be dropped with the author just randomly disappearing. While a contract doesn't negate this possibility entirely, it does seem to make it significantly less likely. As a binge reader though, I definitely understand your suffering, lol.
SnoozySloth I didn't know ss is based on word count haha :P Indeed there are less dropped novels recently, well I'm more convinced atleast. Thanks :)
