Nice guide. Pixlr editor is the tool I use for my covers as it's the closet thing I have on hand for Photoshop.
Its not working for me, it does not let me write down 6oo × 800 onto the crop. Help.

bamjrr what program/site are you using?
also, if your image size is originally smaller than 600x800, you would not be able to crop it since it's already smaller. try resizing the image first and then cropping it, or cropping it at a similar ratio (300x400) and then resize it to double the size.
When I look at my book cover through my laptop band the website it loads correctly but when I look at it through the app on my phone it doesn't load...
Hawkeye_119 it's because the mobile app is glitchy and slower in comparison to the desktop version. don't worry about it. give it some time and it'll fix itself.

FallacyPage nope if you are going commercial. disclaimers don't really do much.
SnowFlake002 I don't think you can. but you can find a pure black or white picture that's 600x800 and jpg and then use that as a "no cover" if you really don't want your cover!

hi I'm new here I just started writing my first fanfic but I'm not getting any gears or options to upload any covers for my fanfic I'm already two chapters in,do I need to rewrite it online view computer or is there a way to do it from my phone?
well shoot now I got another question, if the disclaimers don't do anything for art wise is there anyone willing to make a cover for my fanfic?(due to a illness I'm not able to draw well_ll)

Luna320 Since your story is fanfiction and non commercial, you should be able to do a modified version of an image if it is permitted. There are some images that allow you to reuse as long as you modify them. Most of the time this is to allow for fanfic. I checked out your fanfic, so I can post a link to images you can reuse if modified.
