hi I'm new here I just started writing my first fanfic but I'm not getting any gears or options to upload any covers for my fanfic I'm already two chapters in,do I need to rewrite it online view computer or is there a way to do it from my phone?

well shoot now I got another question, if the disclaimers don't do anything for art wise is there anyone willing to make a cover for my fanfic?(due to a illness I'm not able to draw well_ll)

Luna320 1) go on desktop. 2) google. hopefully there will be someone out there?

Luna320 Since your story is fanfiction and non commercial, you should be able to do a modified version of an image if it is permitted. There are some images that allow you to reuse as long as you modify them. Most of the time this is to allow for fanfic. I checked out your fanfic, so I can post a link to images you can reuse if modified.

idk why it didn't go though but thank you I'm new at this and didn't know weather I could use stuff online or not thank you for the help

I can mock you one up. It doesn't take me long since the image is already created. Give me a few and I'll link the cover back here. Up to you if you want to use or not :D

yaoyueyi I'm cheating with this one. Since some nice person already did a version of Dante and willing to share XD. Otherwise, my covers can take between 5 - 12 hours give or take processing speed to resolution. I have a dinosaur of a PC. Font work takes even longer, so I tend to cheat and use some Public Domain versions. If I have to I spend some time making my own fonts through Font Forge, it takes days and meticulous hours.

Shameless plug here, but Zaldizko took me a day because of all the brush and background work I had to do. It's all fun and satisfying.

little tipp for personal usage you can use freeware software gimp from www.gimp.org if you on a pc its pretty powerful and easy to use. and exist for windows, macos, linux, solaris and many more. it also support over round 22 languages and UI languages and it also has help files and many guides for it and plugins to make things easier. hope this helps for any of you that want a free but powerful image editor. there is for vector image there is inkscape and for video and sound editing and 3D modeling, and 3Dvideos there is blender. all of them freeware for personal usage. all those under GNU public liecense version 2 i think.

yaoyueyi some are lazy to scroll the forum (which got good info/tips/pinned post) as they saw it not worth (wasting time and some people said never been to the forum section until when needed especially when they though bug or something).

people like do the short cut thing.
