I read the comic “Sweetheart V5: The boss is too kind” it’s really interesting and different from the normal girl transmigrating to a ancient world cliché. So I was wondering is there a novel version of this comic and if so, would Qidian translate the book?

I wish there was novel too. Comic is expensive and I prefer it reading also! Hopefully they can translate it into novel like they recently release A Star Reborn: The Queen's Revenge which is comic too!!!

The comic is different than the novel. But I prefer the novel because MC is a strong intelligent woman who became successful in a time that isn't her own. Don't know why they changed the personality of the character and some details in the comic.

Anya_Nesh it's been about 8 months since they last updated the novel version on WN. There's a good chance they won't continue translating the novel and just stick with the comic

Yuki_Qing Qidian ( chinese version if you didn't know) is just working with the author to turn it into a comic and having the novel. WN translates it into English for us. If you read the complete novel the comic is closely following with minor changes.

I did read the complete raw novel and with the current raw manhua (182/3 chapters).
Qidian / webnovel (under Yuewen group) just more into novels. Yuewen group a.k.a Chinese Literature or Tencent publisher has published many manhuas adapt from the novel from all publishers in China, they just permit webnovel to translate as it under the same group. There also have other manhua publishers in China. If you saw many manhuas in Mangatoon/Webcomic etc, they seek approval to translate the manhua from all of them.
Tapas has a partnership with Tencent and ofc they have permission to translate.
