How a novel can be listed on the 'Featured Original' list? Are they the currently famous original novels? Or what?
There is even a novel listed on that list that doesn't have any chapter

Good question. If someone can link to an official post on this.
In the meantime, my view is that your story would have to be power ranking into the top 100 at least. Meaning more gems cast to your story, the more chances of being noticed. Combine this with lots of reviews, comments and other user activity. In short, your story needs to be popular amongst the masses. This is just my view. I stand to be corrected.

According to the site’s Discord server, you have to ask one of the staff if you want to be featured. Another author (WinterBud, that angel :’)) told me how and like the very next day, I got featured.
- Join the Discord server for authors (link can be found in your Inkstone account, left bottom corner on desktop)
- Message your novel’s link to ‘edgarry’ (username can be found in the ‘general’ channel’s pinned messages)
There are requirements, but I don’t know if they actually check or not. Just for precaution, I’ll list them to you:
- 20K words
- daily updates

I'm not writing a story though, I just wondered why a novel that doesn't have any chapter -for example A Noble Warrior- can be listed on the Featured Original
I checked it and there is only 2 chapters? How come it is being featured...there are far more better novels out there that got lots of chapters already but never had the chance to get featured...this is mind boggling...I guess it's the norm in Webnovel nowadays...? Is it?

Much better if they can give active novels with 10 or 20 above chapters a chance on the featured list and rotate it like every 15 minutes, so that every active original author/novels can have a chance to be featured...
winterwind cause they won a contest? otherwise, it's impossible.
Lizabelle88 you have to ask for it. some of the featured novels were asked by the author from the staff. they needed to follow requirements that will assure more than 10 chapters and stuff.
