So, I just finished The Strongest System, and god dammn. I am fking pissed off at the ending.
It was a fking slap on the face of readers.
To me, it feels like I wasted my time.

Does a bad ending kills the novel?
No it just leaves a bad taste afterwards and prevents you from rereading the novel in the future , but just a good ending keeps you yearning earnings for more, you might think back to it nostalgicaly at times....
And the truly great ones have both a good begin ing and great ending (these types don't prevent you from rereading them multiple times)
Also a tip for the writers the brain always pays more attention at the start and stop of everything so act accordingly......
You finished the raws??? Nice. As for the bad endings bit, they leave a bad taste if they do end poorly, however, most good authors know how to end a novel well.
