Chapters 319-499 of the novel, Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith are still locked. I have already paid for these chapters to be unlocked before last year and last month. I already paid for chapters 300-318 a second time in order to be able to reread the novel from the beginning since I started reading this novel on a different translation site that has since shut down. I need these chapters to be unlock again. I have already paid once, and I do not want to have to paid a second time for the same chapters that I read last year and last month. The Spirit stone consume history for these chapters has also disappeared from record. Please help me.

I paid for chapters 92-318 in this past week, and when I originally started reading the novel on webnovel only chapter 300 and beyond was lock and require spirit stones. I wonder if this issue started with the site or the translators?

    If those chapters you unlocked last year were with the daily free stones and the book goes premium it will lock them up again. Only those chapters that were unlocked with paid SS are supposed to remain unlocked when a book goes premium. If those chapters were unlocked with paid SS then maybe QI is making more policy changes under the table again. It wouldnt be the first time and wont be the last.

      , your point of relocking doesn't work as SSM has going premium ( only in the last few days ) and I can read up to 60 then its locked to 80 then it is totally unlocked before the change it was fully unlocked
      also had relocked chapters to books for the backdoor change this has been going on a long time now and its not new .. so no matter and also they can't change the rules as they want due to the law change in the EU on May 28th ..it may not cover you but it covers me in a huge way and the back door changes really screws them up as i pointed out in my email back to them, as the site does not comply with the GDPR to trade in the EU .

        I didnt look at the pictures that you provided as I dont really care. I dont work in IT and I wasnt trying to discredit your claim. I was just putting out a possible explanation as it happened to me when some of the books I read went premium. I was almost done with a book and it went premium and everything after chapter 100 was locked even the chapters that I had unlocked with SS. Though those SS were the daily free ones. I was told that if any chapter was unlocked with paid SS it would remain unlocked. Any other SS including bonus SS that one receives from purchasing a package, as those are defined as free SS, that was used to unlock chapters would lock up after the book went premium.

        I hope you are able to get in contact with Webnovel to vent your frustrations on them.

            I get the daily bonus spirit stones as well as the bonus stones from buying so many spirit stones at a time, and most of the chapters that I unlocked take on average 6 spirit stones, my range is 3-12 stones per chapter. For Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith it took 4 or 5 spirit stones per chapter. I have a total of 19 different books in my library, and another novel called, War Sovereign Soaring The Heavens 71-151, 780-876, 1176, 1331 chapters have relocked. I have use bonus spirit stones on all of the novels that I read. Webnovel need to respond to our post and right this wrong. So I now have issues with two of my novels, why must we paid twice to read the same chapter.

            Any purchase/unlock of chapters with SS will remain unlocked (even if it's free/bonus SS).

            The most likely reason is that, many chapters were released for free prior to Premium, and after it went Premium, you continued purchasing new chapters. However, the older chapters are retroactively locked, and those were unpaid for to begin with (they were free to read).

            Example:
            Book released 250 chapters for free. Book goes Premium. You start paying for chapters 251 and above.
            Webnovel retroactively locks the chapters 101-250 since they were free to begin with.

            You will see that 1-100 is free, 101-250 is locked, >=251 is unlocked (provided you unlocked all).

            It seems to be the case considering many of you have 'chunks' of locked chapters, as well as chunks of unlocked chapters.

                      Pizz Check your email. Webnovel has likely given you your entire statement via email. As for why there are holes, it's more like you should ask yourself if there was a reason during the particular period in time and not expect us to figure it out for you. You might have been using a different account or something without you even remembering.

                      1-100 being free is just an example. The number of actual free chapters a book depends on the book. SSM is locked from Chapter 51. Why don't you do a filter on the Excel sheet for SSM, sort the chapter numbers and show us when you unlocked each chapter from 51-150, and we can figure out what happened there. Giving us random snippets of the data and being vague doesn't help at all.

                      You keep insisting that the data is missing, but it's because you simply didn't purchase those chapters because your memory is failing you, or you did something different back then. No one is so free to create a chunk of 'fake data' to fool you. We are all celebrating Chinese New Year, and don't have time to keep fending against your accusations that you purchased those chapters when it's a lot likely that your memory failed you.

                      Furthermore, the date prior to 08/09/2017 was an era when ads were beginning to turn on. If that's the case, how can you unlock chapters prior to there being any ads? So those chapters were simply NOT unlocked either by SS or ads.

                      Next, you keep saying that the data is missing, but you aren't showing any obvious gaps in the data and your own unlocks. Again, that just convinces me that it's simple a memory error.

                                I am very UNSATISFIED with webnovel's unethical conduct and what I perceive as false advertisement, pay a certain amount of spirit stones and the chapters remain unlocked, and yet my chapters are locked. When I purchase spirit stones and earn bonus spirit stones my email invoice only says that the bonus spirit stones expire 90 days after purchase, nothing about the unlock chapters becoming lock again after 90 days.

                                I also do not appreciate being call a liar, or being told that I have memory problems, when I know what i paid for and what I read. Thank You.

                                  I would like to report that I have a third novel with re-locked chapters, Evil Emperor's Wild Consort chapters 818-1011. This is getting to be intolerable, my main three novels that I like to read have multiple chapters that I have already paid for, lock once again. If this continues, I will be posting my thoughts about webnovel on facebook. I will not recommend this to anybody else until these issues are resolve to my satisfaction.

                                  4th novel, Dominating Sword Immortal chapters 474-500 are lock again.
                                  5th novel, Lady Cultivator chapters 63-89 are lock again.
                                  6th novel, Legend of Swordsman chapters 144-160 are lock again.
                                  7th novel, The Anarchic Consort chapters 68-226 are lock again.

                                  It is a good thing that I decided to check the rest of the novels in my library. Do I need to say more? I hope the rest of you, who are having the same problem as me. check the rest of the novels in your library as well.
