This thread is a one-stop for willing editors and people willing to get their work. Any one interested to edit someone's work can post a link to their profile and those who need the editor can contact the editor. The only rule is: the editor must be credited for all their work.

    PoppyQueen there are several types of editing:
    1. Developmental editing - looking at the plot holes, gaps, weak parts
    2. Line editing - editing the sentence structure
    3.Polishing

    I have been a beta reader for more than a year now for professional authors helping with number 1, developmental editing. Which editing are you referring to?

    I would be able to offer my support for one developmental editing book per month since I don't have much time. However I choose the genre where I accept the books, and that is exclusive to BL/Yaoi/Danmei. Also the book must be completed. I can't do successful developmental editing on a work in progress.

        Later edit: found it. I'm sorry I hope you can understand. I have less than 90 min per day free to read and I prefer to use that time to read novels in the genres I like. Developmental editing would feel like a 9-5 hrs work day if not done in my favorite genre and that I'm trying to avoid since my work day is close to 10 hours/day in a stressful corporate environment.

                    I have an older boys love/girls love hybrid, do you have exclusive preferences for genre itself?

                    Mainly the issue is first and third pov switch between arcs, which could be fixed by making them volumes I guess.

                    For my older LN. Newer one is only similar in genre but wip and girls love only.
