Good luck to everyone entering. Here is my entry for WPC #57 following the themes Travel, a touch of Contract, and Magic, 'Master of All'!

Here's the synopsis. Feedback is more than welcome. I hope y'all enjoy the story I have to share! I plan on adding chapter every day or two.

"Focuses are the power wielded by the minds of mages across the world. Enhancers, mages using Focus to augment physical attacks; Projectors, mages using Focus as a projectile to attack from afar; and Controllers, those few mages who can use their Focus to affect nature itself.

    The Heretic Princess

    Synopsis-

    Sabrina Viscount Dianna Valentine, the eldest princess, and next-in-line to inherit the throne. But she was falsely slandered as a heretic and exiled from the kingdom by her stepmother for the throne.

    Now it’s been more than 10 years since, and all of a sudden she received an invitation to the royal prom held at the mansion of Vascava city. This was a grand event and many nobles and princes and princesses from far away countries were also invited to this royal prom. With the invitation along with a letter, the king himself stated that Sabrina’s presence was a must, as her (step)mother longed to see her after such a long time.

    Which is complete bullshit and another of her scheme to assassinate Sabrina and cut her off the competition. Her stepmother just wanted to secure the throne for her own son.

    Sabrina was left with no choice but to accept the invitation, even after she was anticipating her stepmother’s scheme.

    She marched to the royal prom with her head held high along with her dance partner. Who also happened to be an immortal Vampire and her bodyguard.
