Lord of the Mysteries
so Adam right now is Seq 0 right. its say the ritual for it
"Guide the development of the era to suit one's expectations"
what did he do?
Sollkiri It's so confusing.
Who are allies and who are enemies? Who is on whom's team?
NewCultivator Its not that confusing. There are only temporary allies except the tarot society. Evernight though she already holds 3 pathways and always helps Klein, that doesn't speak of her hidden agendas and plots for the MC. As of now, Klein is still wary of the sequence 0's though he always strike a bargain to them when he seeks help every time. But that doesn't includes those outer gods who are clearly more powerful than the 7 zeroes combined.
For the latest spoil, one of my wishes came true.
Melissa is finally become a sequence 9 Generalist of the Machinery Path led by a mentor of hers who is a sequence 7 Identifier.
As for this week's spoiler. Klein finally advance as a "Miracle Master" and in a series of unfortunate/fortunate events acquired the Card of Blasphemy "The Fool" in the Hornacis Mountain Range. Meanwhile making his 6th persona Merlin Hermes, labeled as the wandering magician.
Does Klein ever use Groselle's Travels to go the Forsaken Land of the Gods or to transport the people there out of the Land? Like can't he send the book to Derick, make him put everyone there, sacrfice the book the Mr.Fool and then get everyone out of the Forsaken Land?
CrimsonParadise He didn't use it. The Forsaken land of God has something invisible barrier that only enable a limited power to get in and out of the land. Except for the loophole that opened a door for them, there's no other out. But yes, he arrived at the Forsaken Land of God through Amon.
Is Klein always going to be a justice lover, someone that seeks to bring evil to justice of his own accord? Or will he ever become the type of person that doesn't want to get involved in matters that don't involve him? I am not really a fan of peace seeking, justice lover and those things..
Space_Fox He has some traits of a that, but it doesn't dictates his character. He is solely focused on his goal and mission. With so many events unfolding, it builds his character with the image of "The Fool" on mind even he doesn't see it.
As for the recent spoiler. The long lost reunion is finally here.
Russell and Klein finally meet and talk about the secrets of the world and his enemies.
Sollkiri Russell? Is it emperor Roselle in non-mtl translation?
Well, that's not a big surprise, at least now. Few chapters ago were revealed that he switched to the Black Emperor pathway, build 9 mausoleums and only 8 were destroyed. That was like a 100% guarantee that he's alive and they will meet eventually (the only question were - will they be enemies or not. Apparently - not).
I was told that Klein "planned to sabotage Adam's plan. Truly out of character for someone who always puts his safety as his first priority". Is it true? Did he do it out of kindness because he didn't want more people to die?
SamStrike_ its not the question of his character but the question of morality. Its clear as sky that Adam has some hideous plan from his interactions in the novel. If you already know that the world's future at stake and you have the ability to prevent or limit the damage, would you sacrifice your humanity for your own safety? if your a fucking misanthrope then be my friend. But that's not the MC's character, he has many people that he needs to protect and as a former transmigrator and nightwatch. He is bound to do what must be done.
As a trivia, most Angels and Gods become misanthrope when they advanced. While Klein still wants to be human even though he is sequence 2, even Russell sacrifice everything just for his family.

Sollkiri So basically, he is going to sacrifice himself for others because he wants to protect them? And yes, it's a question of character, because not everyone is willing to sacrifice themself for others. Moreover, this is a novel, I can care less about ethics and morality. (Fantasy and real life are two completely different concept. I never bring the topics of real life's morality and ethics in the novels that I read)
Misanthrope is someone who dislike society, that is totally a different matter. Someone can not want to sacrifice themself for humanity, not because they dislike society and humanity, but because they care more about their survival. I don't fault someone because they put priority to their life over that of others.
Edit: "But that's not the MC's character, he has many people that he needs to protect and as a former transmigrator and nightwatch". Before, even when he was saving other people, he always put first his safety, and if it was too dangerous then he wouldn't get involved, this is something that he himself said multiple times too. I don't care if this time it's different, the MC's character was of not getting involved if it was too dangerous, that is one of the reason why I liked it and continued reading.
Last thing, calm down and stop being so aggressive

SamStrike_ you should wait for the official trans. to catch up. Its no use if you question a reader rather than the author. Immersion is different from realism. Yes, but reading is either reading for the sake of knowing and understanding what the novel wants the reader to feel.
Edit: "Is it true? Did he do it out of kindness because he didn't want more people to die?" that's an ethical question, and so does my previous answer.
Last thing, calm down and stop being so sensitive since i just answered your "Ethical question".

Sollkiri For me reading has never been for the sake of understanding what the novel wants me to feel, that may be your way of enjoying a novel, but not mine. I can have completely different thoughts and feeling about an event, while, on the other hand, the novel is trying to make the readers feel the opposite. To me reading is just enjoying the actions of the characters and the various events/situation, looking forward to how they are gonna develop. But I have my own taste, so there are certainly some things that I am not gonna like depending on how the author has decided to progress the novel, and when the those things surpass my enjoyment for the novel I stop liking the story.
One example is the death of the old man Kohlen (or how he was called) and the other people of the slums. I never liked that character and was happy that the interaction with him will not happen anymore; but the motive of his death was to make the readers feel emotional about it together with the main character, he was a character designed to die to make the readers feel emotional but because of my own taste this completely failed to me.
(if the person to die was someone else, like Audrey, it would have been a lot better in my opinion. The death of such a character would have had a lot more impact and also been more ejoyable for me to read about, even if I like or disliked her. The death of a character so important and that 'shouldn't' have died would make the story better for me than that of a character that was already designed to die from the start).
"for the sake of understanding what the novel wants me to feel" My feelings were completely different from what the author wanted me to feel or what the characters in the story felt, and that made me simply unable to get into it.
The reason I asked the question is to understand if there were more situations like that one later on, and what made the MC decide what he did. I just care what the MC decided to do then. From what you said, I got that he did what he did because he had people he wanted to protect/save that he valued more than his life, this is his 'ethics'. This is the simple answer I needed and that's it. It's just a question of what kind of character he is, if he is willing to do certain things with certain consequences and risk attached. He decided that risking his life was worth it in that case. There was no need to respond in such a roundway.
I though that Klein would not risk his life to save others or strangers, that was his bottom line. But the truth is that the MC is the type that wouldn't mind sacrificing himself to save 'humanity' (or a large numbers of people) and/or others he cares about, without ever implicating innocents or good people even at his own cost, and at the same time, bringing justice to evil people. This is the character the author tried to portrey and the only answer I needed.
He is a kind and good-hearted person, that tries to save everyone in his power and scope, even going as far as risking himself.
This is completely different from what I though: as someone that would save whoever he can, but would never go as far as risking his life to save innocents or strangers. Even if his family and friends would have been completely protected and safe from it, he would still risk it to save a large amount of people that he knows are certainly going to die otherwise. This is what I got, and one of the minor reason as to why I stopped reading. Thank you anyway.

Okay, since we are stuck at home now. Let me give you the daily spoiler.
After a series of unfortunate events, Klein is then again cornered and captured by the tag team of Adam, Amon, Medici (evil spirit), Zaratul and his historical projections. Klein was then sent to the "kingdom of god" of Adam in short, his city in the subconsciousness mind named Eden.
As of now, Klein's abilities were sealed (all of it). Adam planted a seed of humanity in one of Klein's worms and identity (aka Gherman Sparrow) seducing it to back stab Klein in a nick of the moment and capturing him (sealing him with a cross/stake).
After that, was a ton of shit fucking info that i'm going to regret if i spoil you.
(sigh) just a little bit of it!
"Adam is not Adam" when the Ancient Sun God fell, his will and consciousness was left behind and separated.
One of them was Adam. When the original Adam reach the angel level, the conscious will of his Father bloomed and took the body of his child.
In the latest chap, Klein and Adam (half ASG) are speaking to each other as if its just a Sunday holiday, where the main cuisine is Klein.
