          I'm waiting for a novel with a MC who has his adventures in a world based on Indian lore (Devas, Asuras etc).

          I think that it would be interesting to see something like this written in the Wuxia/Xianxia novel style. (e.g. Zhu Xian (aka Jade Dynasty) by Xiao Ding. This is one of my earliest read Chinese novels. It may not be the best translated novel, but it's still my favourite to date.)
