Not buying another SS until subscription comes back!! So if this is about $$ you just lost it. You really should have a replacement ready before you discontinue.

gabrylleblisz agreed, I spent all my ss on sending gifts to authers I like and now I can't even afford to read anything.
I'm stuck to reading a single novel because of lack of ss, and that after this fiasco I don't even want to buy ss separately anymore. They could have offset this by allowing the daily and weekly ss you get for free to be permanent but even that only lasts for a week/ month so you can't even save it. If anything this monthly subscription should have allowed people to read more chapters and a larger variety of novels and set a steady stable income to the site in the form of monthly payments, but instead we now have people going back to making new accounts everytime their ss drops low. Monthly subs would have offset this problem somewhat. Well the problem could have been that people were reading too much with the novels, I was personally reading 150+ chapters a week so maybe that's the angle they're viewing this from?

maybe everyone should install bluestacks on their pc and just abuse multiple google accounts,

i doubt the authors that complained get anything for people only reading with free SS.

Well guess i have to read the devils cage on the other sites again. Damn shame .Loved this app but the spirit stone with South african Rand is really expensive and premium member was perfectly acceptable price for my budget. Hope you can get this back soon .

I am so upset as you guys did not make it clear that the premium subscription was not something stable, and I can guarantee that I will no longer be reading the novels on here until the premium subscription comes back. I understand that authors need a way to make money, but this is upsetting as I loved the premium subscription and was so happy about it that I donated almost all my spirit stones that I bought with real money. I know this may mean nothing to a company who has no reason to care about it's readers so I guess my feelings are a moot point.

Back to my $10 a month Kindle Unlimted books :(

I'm just flabbergasted @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL you are already making more than most companies with this $25 subscription. How do you think Netflix pays all its employees with $12 sub they're increasing it now but they kept the same price for years and they're a bigger company. I want to know how are people who aren't even world renowned authors but want to sell they're work for more than most authors sell it world wide? Are you going to reinstate your contracts now with a clause stating they must finish their novel, if it's a new writer, with you in a time frame or such cause some writers are better than others and I know for sure the best and worst in career fields dont get paid the same. So for the writers who are not well known they should solicit their novels so people might want to read and donate. Cause it seems you are relying more on donations from us to the authors/translators than anything else or a 25 sub would be seen as a good amount. For me personally if you try and make this sub some crazy amount you probably wont her my money anymore/donations.

Welp it's time to say goodbye, I eat your shits when you beginning the SS program, I still shut up and purchase SS when you take away "watch ads to unlock".

Chugum It’s not about the 30€ subscription I think the real reason is that to many ppl bought it. Just think about it. I think everyone is reading way more than 300 chapters a month and if u buy 300 chapters with SS u pay over 100€ and with the subscription they made a big loss so they need to think of a better system. I mean in the month with subscription i have read more than 1500 chapter xd that’s more then 500€ normally and I only paid 30€ for it.
And a big issue are the pirate sites too. Now the sites pay 30€ and copy every freaking novel for free and upload them to make more money

All who flame here need to see the bigger picture not just your own.

To all who are comparing this Subscription cost to Kindle, Netflix and stuff just saying it's not fair at all. I ask how many of fellow readers know how many Novels are there in Webnovel I certainly don't but I believe they clearly in Hundreds and dozens added every week. (Including Original and Other Ones). And another point is that some or many Novels have more than 1300 Chapters as average believe me it's a lot of hard work to write that much sur there are lots of filler crap in almost all Novels but the fact is if you all read the previous comments some have mentioned they were reading more than Dozen Books for 25$. If you use SS naturally it will be multiple times of 25$.

So naturally from Webnovel stand point it's a huge loss. I am definitely not a big supporter of Webnovel nor I used Subscription I read a couple and usually the free ones are enough if not I just store them . With out shadow of doubt books here are expensive compared to others considering how much crappy filler Chapters they have and some times Authors just write to fill up no of Character. The best so far I have seen in the comments is having same amount but limited no of Novels. A higher amount for more it's the best one till yet. Sure Webnovel will still receive lesser amount compared to buying SS but having something is better than nothing. I don't know how many of fellow readers stopped reading many Novels and stopped buying SS. Webnovel is sure to feel the pain but only if they really stopped reading. I only hope that solution comes fast. At the end of the day Companies who can maintain synergy between Suppliers (Authors) and Customers (Readers) will be successful in long term. At the end Webnovel needs to be stop being greedy and take less share and give out more to Translators and Authors according to readers I guess or some standard principle decided by mutual discussion

What upseting me the most is... those chapters that we already paid to unlocked n now bcause of this all locked again... that is sooooo unfair n not make sense at all. We had paid with ss or membership. So irritating ....
