Well, with more than 10k views and 10,000 words, I was wondering if anyone here wanted to review my work. I am interested in honest and constructive criticism regardless of the qualification. In return, I'm willing to give reviews if someone asks for them.

Synopsis: In a not so distant future, five teenagers are selected for an advanced antiterrorist unit, having to balance their personal lives with their new responsibilities to avoid world chaos.
Why do I recommend it: Certainly, it is something different from what you are going to find around here. If you're interested in a more serious take on the "Power Rangers" concept (something like what Nolan did with his Dark Knight movies regarding Batman -- just compare it with the '60s show) plus a military ambiance, thriller-like elements, well-rounded characters, and a Neon-Genesis-Evangelion anime style, then I believe you can give it a shot.

        I gave you a 2.2 overall. 5 is reserved for completed books, so the max your 3 chapter intro could get would have been a 3.

        I took points off for character design.
        Sentence two of the intro, teenagers.
        Animeā€™s make main character teens take on risky adult jobs like counter terrorism. They make for bad animeā€™s.

        You are writing a book, which means you have 0 excuse for not giving a good explanation of why the adults couldnā€™t handle the problem. Maybe your book hasnā€™t gotten to the explanations for why the sci fi world has to turn to children for its salvation.

        So overall, i rate your first three chapters average. There just isnā€™t enough to five a more in-depth review.

That issue of which you speak is going to be more or less "clarified" (within what one can come to expect considering the premise) in the sixth chapter, with some hints in the previous two. Chapters 17-18 will provide you a more "definitive" in-depth explanation, but if you do not want to get your hopes up too much, it is something like "Neon Genesis Evangelion" in that regard. I do this later since the explanation could be considered a "turn" within the plot.

                  Five stars is the highest rating available. It means there is no possible way to improve the story. I would challenge you to fine one story on this entire site worth five stars.

                  In the review above, we have mearly three chapters amd a book intro to review.
                  The full summary of those chapters is bucky from captain america beats up a policeman then gets wrecked by kid hawkeye and his sister before commiting suicide.
                  It is a decent start for a story, but does it realy tell us all that much about the world? Anyones motivations? It feels like part one of five of the prologue to me.

                  Most reviewers on this site will give an author 5 stars for including the words ā€œher large peaks jiggledā€ with every female character ever introduced. These reviews are absolutely useless, and outright harmful to authors who want to improve.
