I'm going through an existential crisis, I think. Just one big sigh today.

Does anyone work in a job that they love to wake up to? Love to know what that feels like.

    Veronica8 Same here. Don't know about waking up to work at a job one loves. I wish.

    Good news: I'm level 5 on here, yay!

    Bad news: We've been visiting our dog for almost three days now, but she's not responding to the treatment and eating. The vets are concerned; we can't take her home; I'm scared we'll have to put her down. Among other things that have happened in our family, it just feels like everything is tumbling down. I was one day late on two stories, the third one I haven't yet updated when I was supposed to two days ago. Just not feeling it.

        Mom got into intensive care with suspicion of a stroke ... lucky that she was not ... but dementia ... it is being treated ... well, until all the novels are suspended ... I sleep 3 hours a day.

        Life goes on and it's great. Doctors say, walking, eating, drinking, gymnastics, talking to relatives, can slow down the disease, there can be an improvement in 2-3 months.

        This is very cool ...

        Today I wrote for the first time after May 10 ... maybe I will write at least 1 page of my magic farmer ...

        Posted a mass release backlog of updates to Dragonieth. I also managed to scrimp one through for Sunflower. Think I'll make tomorrow mass release Reborn. Maybe some Fourth.

        With work going back to 9 hour days, I can't do daily updates or regular schedule like usual. I'm comfortable doing weekend mass release on a story like today. So, going to try this method for a while and see if it works.

          GrumpyNeighbor thank you. Well did sacrifice a few stories today too. I've been really slack on updating in general. It is hard to do a regular schedule. Offline life takes away lots of time for fun. ๐Ÿ˜ We can only do what we can do.

            Setup @KatXtras today to store all my dropped, poorly updated or non MV22 books. Come to this decision after I received some Readers' love for To Like A Man. I've already moved this title to there and will drop it from it on 01/07 to let the changes sink in.

            This way I'll be able to focus on my main portfolio better. Readers can continue to relive the stories they've come to enjoy in the alternate account.

            What happened today?
            Hmmm. Well, I got 42 ps... The most I've gotten my entire life. Damn, I'm so hyped that I wanna write 3 chaps. T-T
            Unfortunately, I have tuition in morning and night. Have a test on Friday that I haven't even studied for
            I'm as good as dead.

              NatsumeRikka And here I stayed up to finish the "scheduled" 1.5k+ new chapter of MWTL; even though, I just started my full-time internship today. So I'm wiped after work, then I still have my sick dog I visit everyday for hours (the big decision comes tomorrow whether she can come home or...), and now I'm forsaking my sleep to write despite having to wake up early to catch the train to work. *cries

              So yeah, I've been feeling the crunch on various sides. With the writing having some success (MWTL on RR and BTS on WN), I feel obligated to stick to my schedule I promised readers. Of course, I skipped one update of tree story last week and tomorrow's update of it? ...We'll see. T_T

                    This month you can love BL/GL. It's totally allowed. Well, it's allowed any month. But this month is super duper allowed and special. That's why I'm aiming to do as many in a mass release weekend as possible this month.

                    I'm aiming to finish To My Sunflower this month. I'm just over half way I say. Still need to finish off Eiji's POVand that dreaded H-Bomb thing. :pensive: But, the 3rd volume has a super duper not so happy ending. :grin:

                      Started work on a new short story, this time a Time Travel Apocalypse. I also peeked back into RPG Maker Web forums again ... well sense I have no nice words to say, I'll say nothing.

                      Refining the concept of Artificially Intelligent Trees as well.

                        Especially when I was already too frustrated cos my tuitions got extended...

                            schreient Be careful of sparkles and glitter. I once sprinkled them over my parentsโ€™ faces when I was five-six because I thought it was fairy dust, and it would heal their colds. In short, kiddos canโ€™t be unsupervised and left to their devices. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But it sounds fun in any case. Ever try those crayola (?) markers that donโ€™t leave color? I see the commercials sometimes.

                                    Sorry, just want to rant. Feel like every time WN update or upgrade their system on apps, for sure they will sacrifice something on (more or less). It's not like a firm decision and some time we become clueless. Feel like playing around.

                                    Yeah, I know its not fair to compare with other licensing publisher app who is more firm on their own apps.

                                      I agree. Itโ€™s tricky to balance consumer and business interests, needs, and wants. We canโ€™t help comparing to others too. So as much I complain about WN sometimes, I cut them some slack for their efforts. It can be argued whether they โ€˜careโ€™ or whatnot, but imo they at least โ€˜try.โ€™

                                          Chryiss hahaha..some time can feel that their conversation is like this "let try something new but wait, this new thing cant fit with current apps, so let sacrifice something". Feel like inside there, more new people come in / old people resign / no head to instruct or supervise them or to do some research on other publishing company. They are not the only 1 who is translation novel company although they are a big company who have the right to translate their own novel or become an original publisher.

                                          Yeah, they at least try to satisfy both needs and to earn more profit for their business. But with too many undecided decision will only crumple them, the reader will feel bored too. Just hope that they will not be playing around for so many years.

                                          For sacrifice thing to fit their apps, at least do not sacrifice the most basic important thing.

                                          Some of other licensing publisher is born 1 or 2 years last years but their apps, i can say good enough.

                                              Yuki_Qing Very true. Too much experimentation isnโ€™t good. They do need more consistency at this point so that users arenโ€™t on the edge of their seats about whatโ€™s happening like with the whole premium subscription issue.

                                                  About the subsription thing, they should do more research/study on that. Other publishers also have a subscription which gives win-win situation for both.

                                                    Chryiss no glitter for my boy. He eats everything including shoes (teething monster) so we got him edible crayons. Im scared of glitters. When i was in Manila someone got some in the eye and it was horrible. Corneas injured so bad. But lol u thinking they're fairy dust is cute. I hope they were unscathed except for the mess XD

                                                          Just finished submitting 3x books for the Wattys. Man. Gruelling!! Aah. I thought plugging applications to Random House and likes was brain taxing enough. 3 x more to go.
