Yeah. It's an odd thing since nothing else has been able to show up on the message section. I'm worried that the recent spam we've been facing in forms of book adds to the site has been penetration attacks to stress test the system for a Denial of Service attack.

On a different note. I have almost all my books in for a chance with the Wattys. Unfortunately, I couldn't enter Zaldizko since its self pub.

I only have a 500 word essay outline summary of Dragonieth to go. I've all my active books in even TLAM, which contradicts my mandate slightly. It's the Wattys, I couldn't pass up the chance if it got a picking. I'm sure readers who loved the story would understand the chance for it to be a paid book and maybe even on a film contract if my stars are aligned and I'm lucky enough.

Um, I got an eye popping :eyes: shock at some X-rated covers that flashed into my face when I was searching the genre's here just now. Wozza's some let the Double-D all hang out.

I know they show a lot of semi-naked couples in saucy hugs on Wattpad, but the X-rated cover stuff here goes that extra mile. Almost National Geographic Playboy style.

A NSFW filter would be nice. Then again, how would you even filter on a cover if the author doesn't do the due diligence.

I'm going to pretend I saw a pair of cup cakes surrounded by cookies, and move on...

Veronica8 Crying over all my Watty submissions. I've lost the competition before it even begins due to grammar slips.

All my submissions are missing a conjunction or preposition at some point or had the logline truncated, so it reads meaningless. I swear I proofread them, so they didn't have these slips.

I'm a tired kitty.

Why I sign up for these pretentious comps? I guess I like the challenge, still, this is Wattpad. They are very, extremely, picky. If your story isn't 100% meticulously perfect, you are cut without a thought. By meticulous, it's right down to the misplaced comma. It's hardcore with writing competitions at that site.

Groan. I hear all WP writers on this site possibly debating me. If so, bring it on, because I want to hear the reassurance.

Veronica8 How can they cut you right away based on grammar? Like you submit and they’re like nope not perfect? That’s stupid. I understand bad grammar, but editors can tweak the 90% correct grammar. I know your writing, so I don’t understand the situation.

Oml... What just happened? I'm third?! All thi s time... I didn't know I was third XD, though the gap is less between me and the fourth.

schreient yep. That's why being a Editor and Proofreaders are paid jobs. I heard chatter there that they were being picky strict. Hence the panic. Either way it's in the hands of WP gods. Now back to mass release plans

Chryiss Who knows at that place? I think less grammar perfect stories here are far better. I certainly enjoy the originality.

Veronica8 Grammar is a funny thing for me. I can't stand poor grammar like ~30-40% incorrect. It bugs me so bad while reading, especially lack of capitalization, period punctuation, frequent misspellings, and weird placement of word types (verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc.) in sentences. When it's the most basic properties lacking, I literally can't read smoothly and not gag somewhat. I can understand quirky tense and language, and infrequent misspellings and punctuation, but sentences such as:

i love stars spark in john eye --> sound be: I love how stars sparkle in John's eyes.

Really, really, annoys me. This might sound drastic, but I actually see stuff like this a lot. There are a few variations such as it has caps, or the tense is better but without caps, or has both mentioned but no period. But using the same sentence, if I see 'minor' wrong tense like: I love how stars spark in John's eyes. Or some other 'minor' quirk, then I'm not so bothered. So basically, after a certain threshold, I go from completely intolerant of incorrect/imperfect grammar to very tolerant lol.

I honestly don't know why I'm compelled to explain this. XD

This is for myself to keep track of what I need to do and to also let any of those promised people who fulfilled their side that I haven't forgotten about them. :')

• Review Rxel's story (currently at chapter 20 something)
• Edit specific chapters of HearmJan
• Edit DriftingCloud 30 chapters/30k words
• Draw cover art of playcanon (RR)

Did I forget anyone? :thinking: If I did, would they even see this post? XD

Writing:

• Update Big Hit story (2-4 chapters)
• Update tree story (1-2 chapters)
• Replace old version of MWTL to new one and rearrange chapter length

I still feel like I'm missing/forgetting something......
