Hello everyone,

I just decided to share my first book ever with the world. Not the first book I have ever written but the first book ever which other ppl will be reading. Therefore I am quite curious to the comments and star ratings my book will get (if I ever manage to snag some readers). But I cannot find where I can see the star ratings. when I open the writing page I can see that I did get star ratings but I cannot see where I can see how many stars I have gotten? Is it also possible some way to see comments on your book without having to scroll through all chapters??

Thank you in advance for answering which are very probably stupid questions.

Regards, JJMiles

MidnightBlues_ For comments, you have to go to each individual chapter to be able to look at the comments. ( ; - ; )

Stars wise, if you mean reviews you just need to go to your books page on Webnovel, not inkstone. Scroll down and you'll see people's reviews an ratings of your work. Unfortunately, it doesn't show you what those people rated low or high on, just the cumulative whole rating. Another part of ratings is that there won't be one showing up for your book unless you have at least 10 reviews. Your book rating is determined by the cumulative of their ratings.

And these are not stupid questions. Every new author has questions. It's better to ask than not know and be discouraged.

    Hopes this helps!

Yuyumamoru Thanks this really helped me out. It isn't that I am gonna change my entire book if it isn't liked but I rlly would like to be able to see like I a poll or something how many one till 5 stars I have gotten. I tried it out with a different account no matter which amount of starts I give my book it always just add a plus one next to my star sign.

Gues that makes if less happy to use it. Seeing comments in beginning on different chapters is doable... But if you go over 25 chapters it would start to get difficult. Would be nice to have a different page if you had unread comments. But well guess it is never a full party.

Thank you so much for answering my questions!!!

MidnightBlues_ Everyone that rates your book has to write a review. On the reviews you will see the rating each reviewer has given your book, unfortunately you won't know the break down, but some reviewers can tell you their ratings on different aspects of your book and why they have give you the specific rating they have given

There are also the chapter ratings but we can't see them.
