Luta It's sarcasm. Come on it couldn't be more obvious with the quote and the exaggerated cheerfulness.
I am just annoyed by the people who think that translator are an unlimited resource here on Qidian. The translation quality and the CPW is already at a low level for some books and with "MOAR BOOKS" that quality will drop down to LNMTL levels or the CPW will shrink for many novels.
Therefore the joke that he will join the translator, because Qidian needs more translator for MOAR NOVELS.
