Yeah but even multi billion companies announce when they are going to shelve a product. I mean I understand the dropping part from an economic standpoint, but they at least announce it a while before so people could adjust. I mean where's the harm in writing something down like "due to unpopularity of this series it will be on an indefinite hiatus starting on XX"

That's why wuxiaworld is still a favourite. At least they are transparent. Imagine reading 1000+ chapters only for them to drop it midway. I'm not sure if it's a good company tactic but oh well
Bump
I'm gonna casually bump this
RABBITICOL geez, didn't know that. How insightful.
Wondering if someone else is planning on picking it up
Ditto, what's up with this novel, can anyone explain?
OEM's alive and TTNH should be back at mid/end of March
You can't say that they're ripping off other stories at this point as for the current eastern LitRPG genre some elements of the story are standardized because it's easier for the author to write his story than make something brand new not knowing if it will get him any readers or money (especially if the author isn't known).
If you want an example for real books then I'll give you one about crime books. The main reasons for a murder and it's story is actually 1 out of 4 reason. Power, money, love and revenge. So the author starts with one, expands his story how he wishes to.
Now with these bad LitRPG stories the authors take everything from the standardized elements and don't bother to change anything else or to give some sort of deviation. Hence for that reason you think that authors are ripping off each other, but in fact they're just following a template.
First you gotta define "great stories" as those all copy cat novels are in fact great story for new readers of the Chinese genre, and then you gotta account for the age of the readers. For example, would a 13 year old Enjoy War and Piece of Tolstoy and the The brothers Karmazov by Dostoyevski as an adult?
So what? What about the massive amount of novels where girls fall in love with the super handsome cold-heart CEO or vice versa?
What about the xianxia novels where a super bad-ass reincarnates into a lazy slacker and turns the world around? You're just hating one of many tropes that are around in the Chinese web novel scene. These novels might be sh*tty but they're massively popular and hence why they get priority. Simple as that.
If you want a real story without plotholes buy real books shrugs
Are you Canadian? XD
True that. They will accept it some day...
welcome to the middle of February 2019
I started this in 2017 September and still bumping on :DBump, what's happening with this?
Transcending the nine heavens is dead as well currently
Lanankuras wait, Dark king is alive?
Is this some kind of new genius advertisement plan where the novel stops being translated as soon as it went premium or is there something else happening? I mean I don't care, just wondering when it's gona be back.
you first need to kowtow...
Seriously now before you actually do it, you don't get any rewards from badges.
I can see why you failed to buy SS because of that!
