The only transaction that happens is between author and reader, and as we know, the authors (contracted to the very site) do have control over how the payments are handled, so the transactions aren't going to lead to any loopholes which can be abused

It is an economy because freeSS compete with $SS. If there are too many freeSS people will buy fewer $SS and the company will make less money.

Multiple accounts; let’s say 1 account is 2 chapters daily, so 5 is 10 chapters. So a month is 300 chapters. 10 accounts 600, 20 is 1200. So with some time and a little work you can read any novel in about a month.

If I remember correctly, 1 month is when you start losing free SS daily and it’s only the SS you got that day. So you would start losing 2 chapters daily but even then, if you kept the routine going you would finish the novel before you ran out of SS with 20 accounts. Then you would just start again.

So basically you just read a paywall book for free.
