This is true of many webnovels, the authors are basically writing fanficiton that has been monetized so that their motivation for story progression is more about adding to the word count than a proper build up of the plot.
I won't deny there are some novels which evade these pitfalls but they are much fewer in number.

I had reAd this stiry from start to present chapters . There are many plots are unsolved like- tian ji sect tocken maps mystery . His grandfather mystery . And he kills every enemy in easy death even if they fuck his all friends with many torture and he never had the concern of zheg ing planet not her granddaughter after he returns 2 immortal world . And he is really hypocrite he can sex with han quinre or whatever her name but not accept any other girl as his dao companinan , either the girls die for him or either the betray hin or either try to kill him even one has accompliced it in past and if that was not much he kills all girls with only giving tem easy death and make excuses like he had forgotten about it he didnt care about it and calls him mortal .i dont belive that a mortal can do it and in romance or sex department no mortal can do it is he is really a true mortal and with each stage he becomes more mortal then what he was in past god or something like that i say novel name had to be 'way to becoming mortal' . And all the side charaters are becoming quasi stage or sage level experts as free meal party and its limke that mc and all the ancient experts are didnt do all this time only jerking in the universe . Is there any sense or logic in the ending some culvatin guy come and he become his past student husband also pure devil with quasi stage without any explanation and sacrifice himself . In all novel there is no address of his aunt and friend aunt eleven ,and when they reveled only there corpses reveled . What the ** looks like i had wasted all this time only to get depressed on this lame half af ending .
