Wow thats really upsetting. I'm glad you took the time to write all that out. I really enjoyed the story but now I'm kinda wondering whether I should stop reading it all-together. The Yan'Er and Shuyin part especially seems weird seeing as how they're the only two characters the Wuji seems to give a shit about. It's bizarre that they would only meet when the novel is pretty much done. I also felt like all the other side characters were disposable and it's a recurring problem in most of the cultivation stories. I checked out the last chapter and things kinda just END, you know, like there's no build up and it feels half finished. I might speed through it when the translations catch up to the end but still, this sucks.

Tyrn I think it's better wait until the translation gets close to the end, by my accounts it will take about 6 months and a half to finish it on Qidian.
About Yan'er and Shuyin, the fact that they stay apart from Wuji is another chinese cliche that appears a lot in the novels in the same way you talked about the problem involving the side characters. This only makes it appear that the authors don't know how to create a story in which the involvement between the characters does not end up destroying the plot, so they simply makes the MC not have any kind of friend or lover that stays with him during his journey.

And about the last chapter, yeah it just stops in the end. For comparison it is equal to the end of 50 shades of gray. (I only know how the story end because of The Dom from Channel Awesome) This probably is the most frusted thing about the end of this series, because it just means that it ends without a proper resolution.

Thanks for the spoilers! I had wanted to ask how it is turning up as the recent chapters made me speechless in how he is continuously able to escape the super powerful cultivators after his treasures and it is not just once but many times! looks like the ending is also him getting chased because of his treasures? Lol.

As for his relationship with Cen... that is indeed disappointing... since the author tried to show him as a man who treasures love and friendship but seeing how you explained the ending chapters... that is heart breaking.

    Thanks tho.

Kamijou I just finished read chapter 449. I appreciated your review dude. I think i need to stop before i get disappointed like you.

I will start to read lord xue ying again. I forgot most of the characters and plots, so i need to read it again from chapter 1.

      Thanks for the spoilers!
I was thinking about reading it, you saved me my time.

Can someone telll me about his ex-girlfriend that kill him?

Reader_A She appears later in the story having dual cultivation (spiritual roots and meridians). There were 2 subplots involving her it in some way, but only one has a resolution and the other is put in limbo because it involves another character that the author discarded. She end up dead when she tried to kill Wuji and his aura (or was a slap of his) destroyed her completely.

I read raw until when his ex girlfriend kill her master. and after read your spoilers, it feels the story get worst.

I usually never finish a novel after 300 chapters because I find these chinese novels go in circles, and why deal with something stale when you could get something fresh that this other author or the same author made but with different characters and new approach or something. You know? I mean maybe it's just me but I usually don't read books past 300 chapters and if I do.... like IRAS it's because it's a fluff novel and literally anything can happen, as compared to the structured cultivation novels, after they reach the peak they get wild and crazy and soon become like any other villain, but it's okay cause they MC so they just returning what they got right?

Now what would be cool is if they stop making these novels and instead make a sequel in the same world with a new character who knows of the legend of the previous character and end up fighting each other when the new character reaches the peak, and it continues like that? You know that would be cool, but they never do that they just continue these long ass novels and end it any kind of way. I have never heard anyone actually be happy with the ending of these long novels, and even if I do I probably won't even read it that long lol.

Hi, i feel i have read a shit spoiler!

I will continue reading and have my own opinion!

              Thanks!

I tried starting this novel way back when Qidian first posted it and immediately felt like it wasn't worth my time. I dropped it before I got anywhere significant, but it kept being highly recommended by the community, so I always thought I might come back to it. Glad I didn't now. The power rankings are BS in my opinion. The only one in the top 20 I read is RTW.

Flaffy if you want to read cultivation novel that don't repeat the plot again and again, i recommend you to read 'Cultivation Chat Group'.

Kamijou you know that this author is famous for his notoriety like the one with Gate of good fortune ;-)
I added him to my black list after that and thank God I never read this novel after first 10 chaps

Reader_A I dont know....the name a synopsis remind of shiz like Durarara and I'm not interested in random people chatting. It's bad enough the half of the story in Martial Arts Master is the MC chatting with his potential GF and people on random forums. I have no interest in actual social media content in a novel it bores me. I read fantasy novels to get away from that crap not dive in.

Also I don't need a recommendation but I appreciate your kindness. You see I like the repeat of plots, it doesn't bother me but after 300+ chapters it gets stale you know? If they wanna continue to repeat they have to give me something new. Like maybe the MC dies at chapter 500 and gets born again, not just goes to another world but literally dies and has to start over. That would keep me interested longer but I have yet to see a novel actually do that.

so can you please specify cultivation realms after immortal emperor? is there another world besides immortal world and very high heavens ?

DingHao Well, because I read it with Google translator I don't think I can give a good explanation in the cultivation stages after the Immortal Emperor, but I can give a explanation about the cultivation sistem in the novel.

First, everything is divided by 3. There is 3 "Worlds": The cultivation World, The Immortal World and The Celestial World. Each world is divided by 3 realms, each realm is divided by 3 stages, each stage is divided by 3 small stages and each small stage is divided by 3 levels.

Second, the Extreme Stage (lvls 10-12) exist in all stages of cultivation and is more than likely that Wuji is the first that had trained from beginning to end passing through these levels. (most of this you can find in chapter 267)

Anyway, after Immortal Emperor there is still 9 stages (all probably with "god" in the name or something like it) to actually reach the peak of cultivation. The last stage of cultivation that there is in the novel is the "Saint stage" (again Google Translator), which is the 8th stage after the Immortal Emperor (at least is what I think because otherwise the author was going to pull out of his ass another "World" or something like it) and in the entire universe there is only 9 people that can reach this, because everyone that tried end up destroied by the Laws of Heavens and Earth when they try to pass through the tribulation (There can be only 9), so most of the people that trained for millennia of years end up in the "Quasi-Saint stage".

I hope that this can clear your doubts about the cultivation in Immortal Mortal.

And about other worlds after "The Celestial World", in the novel? No. Is this implied? Maybe, because I don't know if the last cultivation stage that Wuji gets (Saint) is really the last or is the penultimate one. As I said I believe that it is the penultimate and there is no other "World" after it. (because it don't exist or because no one had created it)
