Good day fellow daoists. This lord has been reading novels for years and decided to translate one that was dropped several years ago but doesn't know how to go about beating the tribulations known as 'Lawsuits and copyright'. If someone could give this lord a few pointers i would be very grateful.
How to get permission to translate a novel
If the original webnovel was published by Qidian, apply here to get a test to become a translator. If you succeed, you'll be allowed to choose the Qidian Webnovel and translate it.
If the original webnovel is from somewhere else, to avoid copyrights and stuff, you'd probably have to join another major translation site and somehow get them to contact the Chinese publisher, to be officially allowed to translate the novel.
