Just wanted to understand the new webnovel advance reading privilege.
If i did not purchase these privilege will i still be able to read updates regularly or same today waiting longer to read new chapters.
The notes of webnovel to purchase the privilege- if after the expiration of privilege,if one doesnt continue or upgrading,it is said that there might be a very long period of time before u can see new content.
Then again i may ask,if i will not purchase,will it still be the same?

I purchased the advance read for Hello mr. General the next month I have to purchase again to keep what I already purchase and to read on or wait till it catches up. I again purchase enough just to read the advance BUT NO I HAVE TO PURCHASE THE SAME AMOUNT THAT SUCKS BAD ENOUGHT THIS PLACE IS OVER PRICED AS IS.

Bambi_me If you stay a free user then the Webnovel you read should update at the normal rate for that novel. If you purchased privilege then you will have to wait for the amount you unlocked to be released normally (free) before new chapters are available to unlock for you.
Here’s an example.
I read the lord of mysteries regularly. It releases two chapters a day. Today’s chapter were 459-460. I paid for privilege last month and read ahead of the free releases. As of right now when they drop they are still unlocked for me but I won’t get a new unread chapter to read until 468 drops in a couple of days. The only way I can change that is to repurchase privilege enough to get past the point I ended last month.
So if you used privilege to unlock 50 chapters it could be quite some time until the regular releases catches up.
Privilege ends after each calendar month, so if you currently purchased privilege it would run out on Sept. 1st.

Bambi_me Oh and one last thing I forgot. If you unlock all the chapters in the backlog available. (Some 10, 20, 50) then that is all that will be available. They should add a new chapter at the same rate they normally do but if you purchase 50 chapters one month and then purchase it again next month you won’t get 50 new chapters only the privilege to read the newest chapter when it drops each day since you already read the backlog.
I emailed webnovel and suggested they review the rules. I had a suggestion.

I support the authors and their hard work but not like this.
Buying 2500 ss for $69.99+tax to purchase chapters we have already read is like paying for the same item over and over again, that is not good business. You will lose your readers/subscribers with this.
I would suggest that when a privilege purchased expires, reader can no longer advance from their current privilege chapter on the start of a calendar month BUT if the reader purchases the privilege they can resume from the last chapter purchased from the previous month.
If reader do not purchase privileges, then they stay on the last chapter purchased until available chapters catch up.
That is how it should be.

That is what happened to me.. First I purchased 25 chapters later again I bought 50 chapters in rebirth of godly prodigal last month. Even so I have to use my SS to read each chapter not only that it ends at the end of the month.
This month on August 1st I again purchased to 5chapters but it doesn't allow me to read new release chapters it is showing old already unlocked chapters..
What a scam.... Why should I wait till it gets closer to the last update to read new release in advance what is the point in spending all these money to read in advance.. isn't it just taking advantage of us readers who loves to read.. authors should earn money not by robbing us, we send them gifts depending on our capacity ,we purchase each chapter is it that not enough.. read is a hobby how can you want us pay like this. What if we read these novels from some other websites where there is no need to use money to read aren't you loosing your customers genuine readers like this.. we are so happy when you first gave an option where buy SS once amonth to read all the chapters with out paying anymore in that month, now that got changed to previlage.. are you trying to make as much money as you can as soon as possible...

See this is why it scares me. People are buying these Privilege Chapters so it is giving them reasons to keep doing it.

yep, I feel the same.... i am thinking of uninstalling this app altogether but then i am still interested to a few novels ... so I cleaned up my library by removing all my comics and more than 10 novels and just retain 5 or 6 that i very like.... and promised myself not to buy/spend SS anymore but will just wait for the daily rewards to read for free.... if WN will remove all rewards someday, I will just drop this app altogether....
