Immortal_Goddess Is that so? I've been on here for about 1-2 years but I don't have a recollection of discounts going back that long. I must've missed out, or it was different in ways I couldn't use? Or maybe I just forget with my extremely bad memory.
Well I agree about the official announcement part, but the events and information in the forums has dropped in quality for many months now. They probably expect people to look for it themselves and come to a conclusion on their own, even though this could leave some people second-guessing.
But about the missing link... I think that's a glitch on your end. Most people got it last week and the week prior. I have the lack of spirit stones to prove it, not to mention their comments will show up on the link when it becomes available to you again. Unless you meant the official notification for the past few weeks instead? If so, then yes, they haven't been mentioning it

I’ve been here since it was previously called Qidian and the app was way too simple. Just good enough for us readers. But I do like the upgrades and improvements on the app features.
Anyhoo... You can check the previous TGIF... like way back in the #50s and earlier. The discount was posted together with the mass release. Though each was posted as separate message but under one heading.
It was only recently that they change both the discount level and adding a direct link which displays which book is discounted for which day. This new presentation was way better. So this left the TGIF only for the weekly mass release and other related materials.
True. After I updated this app to its newest update, that box link for discount disappeared.
I was so happy that both discount and limited time were together. It made me mark which book to start doing mass purchase once it goes on sale.

Does anyone know how to post pic or attach pic to messages here using your iPhone? The guide kept saying it’s file path... but that’s only for computer where you can see the complete info of the file, Not so on a smartphone.

Immortal_Goddess Back in the beginning and even continuing on for over a year, I don't think I spent any spirit stones back then... During that time most novels I read had the option of 4 SS or watching an ad to unlock each one, and not all of the new chapters would be locked (I think Premium novels hadn't been made into a thing yet). So while remembering that, it makes sense I wouldn't have looked twice at discounts if I never spent SS. Those were the good days~ I much prefer it back then to now, but to each our own

Can't find Discount 50% in "the Featured page and notification" . Where is it?
Can someone who is seeing the discounts for this week please post them here? I'm still not seeing the button/link on the main site. And as mentioned above, i can't update the app because apperently im already using the newest version

With all the things that happens in Hongkong now and seeing that Qidian office also located in Hongkong, makes me wonder.... if every missing announcement (writing prompt contests), discounted stories etc also happen because of this?
I mean, is Hongkong's chaotic status affected our webnovel experience?

CKtalon it's good to know. In Google play store however, it said the developer's adress is in Hongkong.

I also just found out that their HQ is not actually located in HK. They're just listed in HK.
