there really should be a system implemented to prevent forum spam. I'm sure that everyone has seen all of those shady korean links that have been recently popping up all over the forums every few hours, or in the past, where there would be suspicious chinese website links. besides the bots, there are also a few angry users that occasionally spam the forums with a bunch of complaint threads.

so, when are things going to be done to prevent this spam (and if measures are being taken, what measures?)? a simple cooldown timer should be good enough, or a limit to how many threads an individual can post in a day (e.g. 3). it shouldn't be too difficult, though I'm not a coding/site developing person so I don't know for sure.

maybe a report thread option would be nice to have too? :grimacing:

(also, on a side note, when is the webnovel forum going to stop being labeled as "beta"?)

yaoyueyi The forum software is a third party one... and quite a terrible one with very few moderating tools available.
There are plans to revamp the entire forum to something more custom and different, but it will take time.

Maekellen What are you talking about the app is great! I mean I can't read webcomics in it anymore... nor can I watch the multiplier videos anymore... and I had to retype this 3 times due to the forum crashing the app constantly... (sarcasm should be fairly obvious I hope)
