the farming mode which is tested with some fanfics will later in the year will be available for all stories. The gold coins then might be simply coins. If you you are reading a story with farming on you can make around 6 gold coins a chapter. If this rate stays on you will make more coins than Spirit Stones before. Reading the chapter with adds just slows down the reading speed but if it makes my reading free reading.. I will try to get along with it
