This is not about the above mentioned novel per se, but nevertheless has something to do with the novel... or at least the author, Elawn.
Some time ago I fell upon a novel that a translator, by the same name as the author of 'Jay Aslan: Journey to the Top', was working on a few years ago. In one of the chapters, Elawn posted a translator's note with a recommendation on a novel she was currently reading and enjoyed.
I quickly realised that Elawn had drawn inspiration from the recommended novel and I was ecstatic!
I'm not dissing Elawn for her inspiration, mind you. I'm sad she dropped her novel.
My only reason for posting this message/discussion is to share my happiness with other readers that enjoyed 'Jay Aslan' and like Elawn, recommend you to read the still on-going novel.
The novel is written by the author G. Younger and is called 'Stupid Boy'.
