That's not cool Webnovel! I paid coins worth 20 USD but never received them despite waiting for almost 15 minutes and counting. I keep refreshing the page, but they never show up on my account. Paying for a product that never shows up is just like being stolen from. Kindly check the payment and deposit my coins ASAP!

Dear webdesigner team
It would be really nice if you could create more sections/tabs (whatever they're called) in the library to make the readers' added books more manageable. Right now all my added books are just piled up in the library, but some I've already finished reading, some I'm currently reading, some I'm taking a break from, some are novels I might want to read, etc.
I really need tabs other than just 'history' to sort out my library, like e.g. a section for 'finished novels'.

XOMatsumaeohana I'm like 90% mad at Webnovel, but the last 10% is beating me up pretty badly. It's the WORST lesson I've had in a long time, and it sucks! Like really really sucks. My mood is probably a little bit like:
For fuck's sake, Webnovel! I just lost an entire chapter of 1200 words because you can't fix your shit!
I can't save a chapter if there's something written, even just one effing letter, in the 'Author's Thought'.
The chapter will declare 'fail' and then delete the content automatically and leave behind an empty chapter.
If it wasn't because I was smart enough to make a copy, I would have lost an entire chapter of close to 1500 words.Let's fix this, yeah?
Yuki_Qing Unfortunately, I already entered the tag and updated afterwards. It's after those two steps that I can't remove it. It's like the tags went poof in the novel settings, but they still appear under 'Tags' if you browse the novel and read the describtion.
I'm currently working on a novel, but when I wanted to do some tags, I accidentally chose a wrong one and now I can't remove it. How do I remove a tag and is it even possible? At least, the editing of my novel information won't let me.

Dear Webnovel
You really need to redesign how the readers browse for a new novel. Right now your design doesn't have a function that properly sorts the novels with most chapters to the least chapters and viceversa. It's just one big hotchpotch and could be more user-friendly to the readers!
A better sorting will also help the many many authors to get a better chance of someone finding their novel and giving it a try. I prefer a novel to have a certain amount of chapters before giving it a try, but I won't find a new novel that for example already has e.g. 50 chapters or more, if it's drowned and buried among hundreds of other novels that perhaps only have five chapters, if you don't redesign the novel browser.
Help your readers, help your authors and earn more money along the way. Happy reader, happy author, happy you. It's a win-win in my book.
This is not about the above mentioned novel per se, but nevertheless has something to do with the novel... or at least the author, Elawn.
Some time ago I fell upon a novel that a translator, by the same name as the author of 'Jay Aslan: Journey to the Top', was working on a few years ago. In one of the chapters, Elawn posted a translator's note with a recommendation on a novel she was currently reading and enjoyed.
I quickly realised that Elawn had drawn inspiration from the recommended novel and I was ecstatic!
I'm not dissing Elawn for her inspiration, mind you. I'm sad she dropped her novel.
My only reason for posting this message/discussion is to share my happiness with other readers that enjoyed 'Jay Aslan' and like Elawn, recommend you to read the still on-going novel. The novel is written by the author G. Younger and is called 'Stupid Boy'.
You can either Google the novel or find it on storiesonline.net. You'll need to register a free account.Happy reading! :)
Lin_XiaoLong Aaah, I didn't know it was a function that needed conditions to be unlocked. Thanks for the answer!
I'm working on a novel and found myself wanting to add footnotes to words that don't have an English translation or need some extra explaining.
I've seen novels that have them, but I've yet to find a function that let me do it too - both on my computer or through the app. Has the function been removed or is there a trick?
Please, someone enlighten me.
Three-four days of food money went up in smoke.:'(
XOMatsumaeohana I got a reply alright. It's definitely not their fast responses that I fault Webnovel, only their rigid refund policy, that doesn't exist. :(
October 4th 2019, I was going to purchase some SS when a payment error occurred on PayPal. Thinking the payment didn't go through, I reissued the payment only to discover shortly after that I had now been double-charged 19.99 dollars. Which is a lot for a poor university student such as myself.
PayPal recommended that I should contact the seller (Webnovel) to request a refund.
And to say the least, I was quite baffled that my request got flat out refused, quoting: "After confirmation, the Two 1000+250 SSs you recharged have been successfully issued to your account on October 5, 2019.
We have declared that the virtual goods will not be refunded since sold."Apparently, Webnovel is in such lack and need of money that they completely disregard what 'good customer service' actually means and would rather hog the money like a greedy dragon and diss their customer.
I also noticed that Webnovel's 'Term of Service' barely touch upon terms of refund and only explain about cancelling of their subscription plan and not separate payment of SS.
Maybe it's a Chinese thing not to issue refunds, but I'm honestly extremely disappointed with Webnovel's utter disregard for their readers. Even virtual goods are still goods and should be handled accordingly.
There're so many complaints and issues with the new privileged system, but only a handful of times have Webnovel responded back and with poor attitude to boot, like quote: "If you can't afford it, don't buy."
The soul of Webnovel has gone black. :sob:
When will this annoying, shameful and scamming 'Privileged Chapters' end? It's basically keeping the already translated chapters hostage. What a rotten and moronic way of squeezing out more money.
I would really like to know too!
I'd really like to know if the author writes during the day or night and if the novel has resulted in some kind of psychological damage and what they are. I mean, the novel definitely revived a small part of my childhood fear for dark rooms at night.
At long last I found several completed volumes of this novel on Scribd, but the translation was so awful it hurt my eyes! The translation has been a work-in-progress for several years, scattered over various sites, but never finished completely.
I sincerely request Webnovel to pick it up and do a proper translation worthy of this wonderful BL novel.
